Martinez Vows: I Will Give Chavez Jr. The Biggest Beating!

By Rick Reeno

The recognized king of the middleweight, Sergio "Maravilla" Martinez (49-2-2, 28KOs), took offense to the recent trash talk of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (46-0-1, 32KOs). Following his HBO televised TKO of Andy Lee, Chavez vowed to "shut the mouth" of Martinez and promised to knock the Argentinean fighter out.

After months of discussions, a deal was finally reached for Chavez to defend his WBC middleweight crown against Martinez on September 15th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. HBO pay-per-view will carry the event.

"I will give Chavez the biggest beating that he ever got, so it's better not to talk too much because he will go too far and damage his integrity," Martinez told BoxingScene.com.

Chavez is not alone in the back and forth war of words. The champion's legendary father, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., is also throwing a few verbal jabs. In a recent BoxingScene article, Chavez Sr. stated that he was worried that Martinez would now "chicken out" and attempt to withdraw from the fight.

"I'm starting to get upset and they will regret [their words], the father and the son, because I would never withdraw from anything," Martinez said.

After watching his stablemate, Andy Lee, get stopped by Chavez in seven rounds - even Martinez admits that Chavez has displayed a significant amount of improvement in his last last couple of fights.

"He's had an evolution with his quality. He's a much better fighter [now]. He's very strong and very big. I am really looking forward to [fighting him] because now it will be more of [an even fight] than it was two fights ago. I am really happy because I think that it's the right time [to do this fight] and [there should be] no excuse," Martinez said.
wag masyadong takutin si JR baka mag back out....

Before the fight, the HBO are expecting that Bradley to upset Pacquiao.
And Dwane Ford said that Bradley is outboxing Pacquiao

Why not make slowmo for Bradley's Punches...?
I can't remember Bradley Landed a Telling Blows to Pac
And why the Media, Sports Writer, Analyst and Expert at ringside scores for Pac atleast 9-3 rounds
Even though they doesn't have that HBO commentaries

Nangyayari talaga to lalo't live in full speed action ang fight.
At madalas pabor sa mga heavy favored fighters.. same as Mayweather..Pero mas maganda pa rin tingnan yung mga Slowmo sa end of the round replays

Tim Bradley: If No Pacquiao Rematch, Bring on Amir Khan!

By Edward Chaykovsky

WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley is still hoping that his rematch with Manny Pacquaio will go through on November 10th. On June 9th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Bradley won a controversial twelve round split decision over Pacquiao.

There are now discussions that Bradley will not be Pacquiao's opponent in November, and instead the Filipino boxer will possibly face Juan Manuel Marquez for a fourth time.

"I don’t think that’s the way it should go. I think the rematch should happen. I think the fight was really close, it could have gone either way. I’m all for it. November 10, let’s do it. November or December, if he wants to do the rematch, why not? All this [controversy] would be taken away. Let’s do the rematch and settle it once and for all," Bradley told his hometown paper, The Desert Sun.

If Pacquiao decides to face Marquez, Bradley is open to facing his career rival, former champion Amir Khan. On July 14th, Khan challenges Danny Garcia for the WBC championship at 140. If Khan defeats Garcia, then he will likely move up to 147-pounds.

"I just want the big fights. If Khan is the big fight and we can make it happen, why not? Let's do it," Pacquiao said.

Tim Bradley: If No Pacquiao Rematch, Bring on Amir Khan!

Mas gusto ko rin si Kellerman, lalo na yung mga pinagsasabi niya about sa Laban ni JMM and Pacquiao
Hindi siya Bias..

And about naman kay Amir Khan, sabi ko nga sa isang thread, Bring it On!
