hindi po aavailable face time sa 3Gs i heard, anyhow ask ko po kkung may na encounter po kau na issues running ios 5.1.1 sa 3GS nyo, sakin kc ios 4.1 jail break

btw kung wla namn po issues kau na naencounter, pde nyo po turo kung pano nyo po inupgrade? official update po b yan o hindi?

Wala ka pong makikita talaga because FaceTime is not supported for iPhone 3GS.

Which Apple products support FaceTime?  To use FaceTime, you need one of the following Apple products:
 
iPhone 4 or later
iPad 2 or later
iPod touch (4th generation)
Mac with Mac OS X v10.6.6 or later

Pero back in 2010, may na-develop na app which brings FaceTime to the 3GS: FaceIt 3GS. Kailangan jailbroken ang unit para makuha/ma-download ang app na ito sa Cydia. But AFAIK, it is only supported for iOS4 at wala akong knowledge if nai-port na ba ito para sa current/latest iOS 5.

No issues on my side. I have an iPhone 3GS on iOS 5.1.1 and it's jailbroken.

Just update via iTunes, or manually download the 5.1.1 IPSW and update (still via iTunes). Of course it's an official update. BTW, my 3GS is "factory unlocked" kaya walang hassle or complications both sa pag-update and pag-jailbreak.

I see.. not really sure kung factory unlocked etong iPhone 3GS ko, nung binigay saakin jailbreak na siya running iOS 4.1 po, kaya medyo worried ako sa pagupgrade sa iOS 5.1.1

san ko po ba pwedeng idownload ung official IPSW ng iOS 5.1.1?

may mga nabasa kasi ako sa Internet lalo na sa official forums ng Apple na pag nagupgrade ka sa iOS 5.1.1 wala ng way para mag revert/downgrade sa iOS 4

AFAIK, and to quote the iPhone Dev-Team...

If you have a device earlier than the iPad2, you can downgrade to whatever version you want, as long as you have saved SHSH blobs for that version. You’ll need the assistance of geohot’s limera1n exploit with tools like redsn0w to get into “pwned DFU mode” and bypass the downgrade restriction.

The most important part of that quote is that you should have saved SHSH blobs of your 3GS (in your case, 4.X.X --> the iOS 4 version you would want to revert back to).

Okay sir salamat po, one thing na nako-confuse talaga ako is hindi ko alam or hindi ko magets kung paano ise-save or backup ung SHSH Blobs ng iOS 4.1 (jailbroken)
