    Kailangan mong i-setup sa server side at sa client side.

    Kung local lang ang domain name, pwede mong i-resolve yan sa hosts file. Halimbawa, sa laptop mo o sa client side, Windows 10 x64, edit mo lang as Admin ang:

    C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

    o kung Linux ang client side: /etc/hosts

    Code:
    # IP of web server | domain, subdomain

    192.168.0.1	vchristie12.net
    192.168.0.1	www.vchristie12.net

    127.0.0.1	localhost
    Kahit anong name pwede mong ilagay diyan at magre-resolve yan sa IP address as long as yung laptop mo ang gagamiting pang-access ng server. Halimbawa, example.org, manyak.local, test.box, sandbox, vidz_box, etc.

    Sa server side naman o kung saan naka-install ang web service, di mo na kailangan ng Webmin para mag-edit ng config file. Pwede na sa terminal/SSH. Kailangan mo lang ng text editor tulad ng vi o nano.

    Assuming na Apache ang web server na naka-install at open ang port 80, gagawa ka ng config file para sa Virtual Host. Halimbawa, as root user:

    - Create the home folder for your web files:
    mkdir -p /var/www/html/vchristie12/public_html

    - Create the virtual host configuration:
    vi /etc/httpd/conf.d/vchristie12.conf
    Code:
    NameVirtualHost *.80

    <VirtualHost *:80>
    ServerName vchristie12.net
    ServerAlias www.vchristie12.net
    DocumentRoot /var/www/html/vchristie12/public_html
    ErrorLog /var/log/httpd/error_log
    CustomLog /var/log/httpd/access_log combined
    <Directory "/var/www/html/vchristie12/public_html">
      AllowOverride All
      Options -Indexes +FollowSymLinks
      Order Allow,Deny
      Allow from all
    </Directory>
    </VirtualHost>
    - Reload Apache config to reflect the changes:
    Code:
    service httpd reload
    Dun mo ilalagay ang html/web files sa /var/www/html/vchristie12/public_html. Then pwede mo nang i-access sa laptop mo ang server, http://vchristie12.net.

    Kung may problema, i-check mo ang Apache logs ng server sa /var/log/httpd/error_log o sa /var/log/httpd/access_log. Halimbawa, print the last 20 lines of error_log:

    tail -n 20 /var/log/httpd/error_log

    Idol, ginawa kong 8080 yung port kase nag coconflict sa 80. gumagana sya through IP.
    example: 192.168.1.1:8080

    Pero pag yung servername na yung gagamitin ko d sya nag pupsh tru.

    eto po yung error

    Pasensya na. Baka wrong punctuation sa config. Paki double-check kasi period pala yung nalagay ko sa halip na colon sa NameVirtualHost.

    Add mo rin yung Listening port kung di mo pa na-add. Halimbawa:

    vi /etc/httpd/conf.d/vchristie12.conf

    Code:
    Listen 8080
    NameVirtualHost *:8080

    <VirtualHost *:8080>
    ServerName vchristie12.net
    ServerAlias www.vchristie12.net
    DocumentRoot /var/www/html/vchristie12/public_html
    ErrorLog /var/log/httpd/error_log
    CustomLog /var/log/httpd/access_log combined
    <Directory "/var/www/html/vchristie12/public_html">
      AllowOverride All
      Options -Indexes +FollowSymLinks
      Order Allow,Deny
      Allow from all
    </Directory>
    </VirtualHost>
    - Reload Apache config:
    service httpd reload

    Dapat rin makita mo ang 80 tsaka 8080 sa listahan ng ports ng httpd, halimbawa:
    netstat -ntlp | grep :80
    Code:
    tcp        0      0 :::8080                     :::*                        LISTEN      1877/httpd
    tcp        0      0 :::80                       :::*                        LISTEN      1877/httpd
