Medyo wala po akong pug sa ngayon, pero on the way nako para magkaroon nang isa...
Basta dumating lang yung results nung July 2010 NLE Board Exams, the hopefully, and malakas talaga ako tiwala ko kay Bro. na hindi niya ko bibiguin and sobrang lakas talaga nang pakiramdam ko, na makikita ko yung pangalan ko sa dyaryo by September.
Bibigyan talaga ako ni mama ko nang pambili nang Pug, basta't makapasa lang ako, as a prize.

i have a black pug female..
4 months pa lang sya...
new owner lang ako 1 month and half pa lang nsa akin to...
ndi naman mahirap alagaan..
matakaw, malikot at maharot lang parang walang pagod..
kaya pag gabi and may work ako nsa cage sya...
naiinis kasi esmi ko sa sobrang kulit and sa akin lang sya nasunod..
wala ako pic eh nsa bahay babalik ako d2 sa thread na to post ko pic para makita mo..
magastos kasi pure dog food pinapakain ko matakaw pa..ngayon lagi ko sya nilalabas pag umaga para maging sexy daw sabi ng vet namin kasi nga sobrang takaw...

sana may na ishare ako lol

Sir regarding sa pug, wala po ako pug, french bulldog, shihtzu, pekingese and pomeranian po dogs ko, breeder din po ako...

Share ko lang sayo yung mga nakikita ko and nalalaman ko sa pug base sa mga breeder na barkada ko and kuya ko kasi nagkaroon na ng pug (breeder din siya).

Hindi naman po mataas ang maintenance ng pug unlike sa mga long haired dogs like poms, shih, pek etc. Sa dog foods naman bigyan mo na lang sila ng quality dog foods like Holistic or Orijen, kung isa lang naman yan, kaya mo na yan matagal naman aabutin yung 1 sack. Kasi kung quality naman yung dog food kahit hindi mo na bigyan ng food supplements dahil makukuha na din sa dog foods yun, simpleng vitamins na lang.

Hindi din naman sila kailangan i-dog walk ng mahaba or ng matagal, lalo na at prone din ito sa heat stroke like french bulldogs. Kailangan pag pinaliguan mo sila make sure na makukuskus mo yung mga folds dahil madalas ito yung reason kung bakit nag kaka foul smell ang pug at kung minsan hindi na nawawala kahit anong ligo.

Sa pagkaka alam ko prone din sa CS ang pug, pero pwede din mag normal if i-breed mo, and mahirap mag palaki ng puppy lalo na ang newly born, kasi madalas ang pug hindi sila magaling na nanay sa mga puppies nila, so kung i-breed mo, dapat tutok ka talaga dahil baka madaganan ng nanay yung puppy, and pag nag dede yung pups i-checheck mo din dahil aawatin mo yung pagdede madalas dede lang sila ng dede then lalabas sa ilong yung milk na magiging cause para hindi makahinga. And ikaw din ang mag stimulate ng pag poopoo and pag ihi nila, soon if gusto mo i-breed take note yung mga sinabi ko.

Pag aralan mo yung breed standards ng pug para malaman mo yung mga faults nila sa body, face, built nila, basta lahat. Para alam mo itsura nung pug kasi marami na din ako nakikita na pug na malayo na sa breed standards.

lastly...

Bumili ka ng pug sa reputable breeder, wag sa pet shop. Responsible breeder nag rerelease sila ng puppies usually may 2 shots na (vaccine) and updated yung deworming done by a licensed vet, hindi yung breeder lng ang nag iinjection, madalas nasa 8 weeks and up, pero mas maganda kung 3 months na yung puppy, kasi 2months pwede na para maka adjust din yung puppy pag nasayo na.

Sana nakatulong, ganyan din kasi ako before nung kumuha ako ng french bulldog, sobrang nag research din ako... Good thing nag research ka muna unlike others na basta na lang bumili then sooner or later nagsisi dahil sa nakuha nila.

Size, Proportion, Substance

Head

The ears are thin, small, soft, like black velvet. There are two kinds–the "rose" and the "button." Preference is given to the latter. The wrinkles are large and deep. The muzzle is short, blunt, square, but not upfaced. Bite-A Pug's bite should be very slightly undershot.

Neck, Topline, Body
The neck is slightly arched. It is strong, thick, and with enough length to carry the head proudly. The short back is level from the withers to the high tail set. The body is short and cobby, wide in chest and well ribbed up. The tail is curled as tightly as possible over the hip. The double curl is perfection.

Forequarters
The legs are very strong, straight, of moderate length, and are set well under. The elbows should be directly under the withers when viewed from the side. The shoulders are moderately laid back. The pasterns are strong, neither steep nor down. The feet are neither so long as the foot of the hare, nor so round as that of the cat; well split-up toes, and the nails black. Dewclaws are generally removed.

Hindquarters
The strong, powerful hindquarters have moderate bend of stifle and short hocks perpendicular to the ground. The legs are parallel when viewed from behind. The hindquarters are in balance with the forequarters. The thighs and buttocks are full and muscular. Feet as in front.

Coat
The coat is fine, smooth, soft, short and glossy, neither hard nor woolly.

Color
The colors are fawn or black. The fawn color should be decided so as to make the contrast complete between the color and the trace and mask.

Markings
The markings are clearly defined. The muzzle or mask, ears, moles on cheeks, thumb mark or diamond on forehead, and the back trace should be as black as possible. The mask should be black. The more intense and well defined it is, the better. The trace is a black line extending from the occiput to the tail.

Gait
Viewed from the front, the forelegs should be carried well forward, showing no weakness in the pasterns, the paws landing squarely with the central toes straight ahead. The rear action should be strong and free through hocks and stifles, with no twisting or turning in or out at the joints. The hind legs should follow in line with the front. There is a slight natural convergence of the limbs both fore and aft. A slight roll of the hindquarters typifies the gait which should be free, self-assured, and jaunty.

Temperament
This is an even-tempered breed, exhibiting stability, playfulness, great charm, dignity, and an outgoing, loving disposition.

DISQUALIFICATION- Any color other than fawn or black.

Like ko dati black then may nakita ako white color kaya yung naman hinahanap ko ngaun hehehe.. Pwede naman maregister pero pag lalake yung white dog di pwedeng ipangbreed ata? Kaya ok lang if white pug mo eh female, ipamate mo nalng sa fawn or black hehe..

may nakita nga ako benta nung white kaso nawala na yung ad.. baka nabenta na
