**NOTE: Before joining this contest you must read & agree to the CONTEST RULES & CONDITIONS stated below;

RULES:

1. All entries must be photographed by you and submitted electronically.

>>>TO BE CONSIDERED, your photo must;

* be in color; sorry no black and white, sepia, or other monotone;
* be submitted in jpg/JPEG format only;
* be 640x480 pixels ONLY smaller ones cannot be enlarged and will not be used if deemed too small.

>>>And, your photo must :

* NOT be larger than 1 MB;
* NOT have DESTRUCTIVE watermarks (copyrights, names, or other text overlays);
* NOT have digital camera time/date stamps;
* NOT have decorative borders;
* NOT need trimming, cropping or editing for image quality.

2. All images must be originals and must belong to the person uploading; all rights in the photo must be the property of the person uploading the photo.

3. Members can submit ONLY 2 PHOTOS per contest month

4. WATERMARKS & other PHOTO IDENTITY can be place on the bottom right corner of the photo and FONT size would be 11 pts (maximum)


CONDITIONS

Since this CONTEST is intended to develop our skill, we reserve the right to reject unsuitable or pornographic images. Unsuitable images for this THREAD include most nude photos as well as photos of a sexually suggestive or overly violent content.

Public Critique

Once posted, the image will be open to public comment and critique. Although I myself will monitor all comments for appropriateness, negative comments - as long as they are not abusive or otherwise ill-natured - may be posted along with your photo. Most comments, however, tend to be constructive and motivated by an honest desire to help the photographer become a better image maker.


CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

ORIGINALITY & BEAUTY - 50%
EFFECTS & DESIGN of the SUBJECT - 30%
COMMUNITY VOTE - 20%


>> ORIGINALITY & BEAUTY - this criteria is the most IMPORTANT of all...this includes your own idea on how you're going to interpret by means of PHOTOGRAPHY the given CONCEPT...BEAUTY is a plus factor on your chosen concept.
>> EFFECTS & DESIGN - this includes the LIGHTS...COSTUMES...SET DESIGN....etc.....this will reflects your imaginary skill on how your SUBJECT will be more presentable...
>> COMMUNITY VOTE - our COMMUNITY will also be a part of our CONTEST...they will going to choose or VOTE for their bet...so you better impressed our community to get their VOTES

DEADLINE OF SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES IN ON JANUARY 15, 2008 at exactly 10:00PM (Philippine Time)

** Every month there will be a NEW concept and every month there will be a new set of judges.
** JUDGES will be invited and HIS or HER identity will not be revealed to the public until JUDGEMENT day.
** CRITERIA for judging will be announce later

nice contest, though i dont agree with these because:

thats the way the photographers id their work. i dont assume but what if someone will use them and claim as their own.

for the borders i think a simple black or white border around the pic would make it more captivating.

Bakit di pwede watermarked? Medyo contradictory naman sya sa rule # 2.
