Steps how to Flash..

1.(when your phone is turned off, press # + * + power on button to access BL mode)
2.Open Rsd Lite
3.When it has recognized your phone, press "..." button of RSD and choose BL file. Then press start. Wait until it says PASS.

Motorola U9

Check mo muna sir kung ano Bootloader mo. Eto and Steps sa baba.

Poweron the phone in BL mode:

The BEST way to flash the Linux Motorola's is to use RSD Lite 3.9, or higher

This is the way i Flash my Linux Motorola's
i would not recommend using Flash&Back up 3

(try to avoid RSD Lite 4.1)

Next, install the NEWEST Motorola Drivers from MotoDev



Flashing,

Once you have the above 3 your ready to Flash your Motorola, and your Battery is FULLY charged.

Connect the phone to the PC with the USB cable, making sure the phone is in Modem Mode,
(this can be checked by going, Main Menu> Settings> Connections> USB Settings> then select Modem.)

Now start RSD Lite.
wait for it to find your Phone,


Now you need to choose the file you want to flash,




Once you've selected the right flash, you can press Start,
Let RSD Lite go through the Flashing cycle,







Your Phone will Re-Start, DON'T disconnect until the Result is PASS.



Congratulations, You've Flashed Your Phone

Note:

Notes:
1. ZN5's skins may also work on U9, if you don't mind the minor problem of display on the external screen. (But the touch screen will still work.)
2. When adding a skin, just put it into the skins filder of your phone or memory card. The Folder cannot include a space in it's name.
Example: Phone memory >> skins >> CrystalCarbon (Will give you a error if you name it as "Crystal Carbon")
3. Just put the MGX files in whatever place you want and install it with a click. The installed applications will be shown in the MagicBox
4. If you have registered the Mpkgbox or Magicbox before, there's no need to register(pay) again. Just enter the same SN and that's all.

a. When the Swap (supported from mod 1.3) is enabled, do not connect your Phone to PC using memory-card mode. This may cause the phone to freeze.
b. When setting the Swap size, please note that the number you're entering is the number of how many times of 16.
Example: If you wish to have a Swap of 128 MB, please enter 8, as 8*16=128.
c. If you wish to autorun your Swap, enter the Swap manager and select create autorun file. After that, enter the folder "Unrecognisable Files" of your phone memory, move the file called "Swap" to a folder called "autorun" on your memory card.
Example: Phone memory >> unrecognisable files >> file called Swap ----- move to ----- memory card >> autorun >> put the file here
d. The mem-card speed must be 66x (Class4) up in order that you can have a better Swap. (You know what will happen when Windows is using hard disk as it's virtual memory....)

12. JAVA Multitask, for free versions of MPKGBOX2.0
Wanna run multiple JAVA apps, but don't wanna pay for it?
Well, this's the solution.
First, you'll have to install the Voice button changer(#12), and change it's function to MPKGBOX 2.0.
Then, long press that button, and it'll call out MPKGBOX 2.0 (Not magicbox)
Now, run this application and enjoy it.

PS. It's still buggy: You can call out one another JAVA applications, but it's still not able to switch between them xD.
For example: I first opened MeBoy, and then called out Bomberman, and then MeBoy again.
It's actually running 2 x MeBoy a the time but not return to it -.-

Hide

Creates a folder that hides the files inside it, great if you want to hide some secrets


E8 FileManager 2.0

It's a file Manager, just like the one embeded on the phone, but this one will allow you to search folders that are hidden, like .system, or even the ones that were accesible only with telnet/FTP like ezxlocal/

E8 Sysinfo

Displays your Memory status, CPU speed and informtion about your memory and system.


Autochange Wallpaper

Used for automatically changing the wallpaper!!


Logo Changer

This will allow you to change your boot logo, from the boring and stock M, to whatever you want

Put your font in appropriate folders and select those folder only for it to work !! The application automatically restarts the phone wait till it Restarts it ! Njoy !!

First things, you need to get connected first.

Getting Connected

This guide is intended to help you get your L6 connected to the computer so that you can mod it using p2k programs.
First of all you will need to download and install the UID Extraction Tool from the MotoDev downloads page. Once installed run the UID Extraction Tool and plug in your L6. Now The Found New Hardware Wizard will pop up. Select "No not this time" and click next.


The hardware wizard will now look something like this. It will be helping you install one of the following: Motorola USB Modem, Motorola Accessory, Data Logging MCU Interface, Test Command Interface, or Motorola Flash Interface. Select "Install from a list or specific location" and select next.


You will advance to the next step. Check the "Include this location" box and hit browse.


Browse to the directory where you installed the UID Extraction Tool and select the appropriate folder containing your drivers (either the Winxp or Win2k folder). Select OK.


Now your screen will look something like the one below. Click next.


A new screen will pop up saying that your device is being installed


Before it is done installing you will have a pop up saying that the device you are installing is not windows certified. Click "Continue Anyway."


The installation will resume.


When it is done you will see another screen click Finish.


DO NOT UNPLUG your phone at this point. Another install window will pop up for the next driver. Follow the same instructions. When you are done you should have installed five drivers: Motorola USB Modem, Motorola Accessory, Data Logging MCU Interface, Test Command Interface, and Motorola Flash Interface.
Congrats you have gotten your phone connected and can now start your modding with P2k programs!!!

HOW TO FLASH

1. Let gets started by opening Rsd Lite and be patient. Once you double click the program, it takes a full 30-40 seconds to open. DONT double click it again. just hang in there, it IS gonna open. Make sure your phone is plugged into the computer, and is in data mode. To check if the the phone is in data mode, go to MENU>SETTINGS>CONNECTIVITY>USB SETTINGS>DEFAULT CONNECTION>DATA/FAX CONNECTION.
