Kindly Post Your Custom Installed ROM on Your Tablet PC

Info:
Uberoid is a modded 1.3.0 firmware with 1.3.1 kernels, loaders and some of the 'good' components. In general, Uberoid is a highly optimized ROM for WM8650 tablets that is easy to modify:
RUN CHANGER.BAT on a Windows PC to setup and / or personalize the ROM. Type "X" <enter> in CHANGER to see all XTRA commands. New CHANGER Features:
1. You can delete the new futuristic text font I've included (remove FirmwareInstall\packages\android2.2-froyoHcHHCFW.tgz, then you get the default font back.)
2. You can delete the HoneyComb framework mod (remove FirmwareInstall\packages\android2.2-froyoHcHHCFW.tgz to get the default framework)
3. You can run CHANGER to:
* select your model (changes ROM config according to you model)
* copy Uberoid to SD (type in CHANGER "SD" <enter>, or anwer "y" after CHANGER has set a model, it will ask you to copy to SD.)
* Format a SD properly and copy Uberoid to it (type in CHANGER "SDFORMAT" <enter>, or anwer "y" after CHANGER has received "n" to the COPY question, it will ask you if you want to format and copy to SD.)
* Create a LiTE version, in CHANGER you type "LiTE", this makes 13.5MB free in the ROM. Type "UNLITE" <enter> in CHANGER to get the extra apps back. It removes these components:
-extra apps, removed from FirmwareInstall\packages\fs_patch\data_patch\app and \data\
-HoneyComb FrameWork MOD
-HoneyComb WallPapers
-HoneyComb Clock by Juliojs
-HoneyComb Theme
-ADW Launcher
-ADW Settings
-New text font
-And it changes the default wallpaper back to default stock ROM.
*LiTE uses only 1 launcher, the WMTLauncher.
4. You can change the font/lang to Arabic (type in CHANGER "AR" <enter> to copy the arabic support package to the ROM)
5. You can change the font/lang to Thai (type in CHANGER "TH" <enter> to copy the thai support package to the ROM)

FAQ
FAQ#1: HowTo install the ROM:
1. Download Firmware and extract firmware on a Windows PC.
2. Insert SD card in the card reader of the PC.
3. Run CHANGER.BAT provided with the firmware.
4. Select your model number and press <enter>
5. CHANGER asks if you want to copy to SD, press 'y' to continue, a new screen appears with a list of drives, select your SD card driveletter and press enter. Any old firmware will be deleted before the new copy starts. If you have selected 'n', CHANGER will ask you if you want to format the SD and then copy to SD.
6. Insert SD into the tablet, power on tablet and follow the onscreen instructions!

FAQ#2: HowTo Fix cache problem, not all apps (like Google's) can be found:
1. Open the Market and press the home button to return
2. Go to Settings \ Applications \ Manage \ Running
3. Press "Market"
4. Press "Clear cache" (do not clear data)
5. Press "Force stop"
6. Return to "Settings \ Applications \ Manage \ Running"
7. Press "Google Services Framework"
8. Press "Clear Data"
9. Press "Force Stop"
10. Start Google Market, it must give an error
11. Reboot, once back Market should work, if it gives an error it could need another minute to work
12. Test the access, search Skype on the market, it should return 400+ results including the original Skype and google's apps like maps / streetview / docs and skype

FAQ#3: Uberoid keeps flashing, the tablet does not boot to Android:
* Then you must try another model, this problem occurs for example when you use a green led (1) script for a blue led device (2), run CHANGER.BAT, select (2), reflash.

FAQ#4: I have a blue LED M009S I've tried option '2' everything seems to work but the touchscreen:
* Use option '8', that fixes it!

FAQ#5: HowTo Conserve Battery Life ? by Evoic

FAQ#8: PC-802 Firmware won't install! by Dawg Fan
There are two different models of the PC-802; one has the WM8505 processor which uses the "scripts" folder and one has the WM8650, which uses the "firmwareinstall" folder. I'm afraid you have the older WM8505 and the Hybrid 1.3.0 ROM will not work on your tablet.

FAQ#9: Using the market, the error "installation failed -18" occurs
If you get the error "installation failed -18", this is related to the apps2SD settings. Go to "Settings", go to "Applications", Untick the "Allow applications to install to SD". Or you can remove the sdcard temporary.

FAQ#10: Using option '8' the wifi is poor
To get wireless TX=100 back, remove the folder:
FirmwareInstall\packages\fs_patch\root_patch\syste m\etc\Wireless
and reflash, or, edit in Android: \system\etc\Wireless\RT2870STA\RT2870STA.dat, change TxPower=30 to TxPower=100, and reboot.

FAQ#12: Uberoid keeps flashing, I used option 1 and I have a green led wm8650
Use option '8' in the CHANGER, that solves most of these problems. In general, if Uberoid keeps flashing, you need another model selected in the CHANGER.

FAQ#13: WiFi got disconnected, and there all the sudden no available networks
Turn WiFi off and on again.

New Fix V6.3 FiNAL Audio Boost Rooted Device Only!

Open Root Explorer
Go into /system
then go into /etc
then navigate to init.sh
Long press on it and choose to open it in text editor
Add these two lines at the end:

alsa_amixer sset 'Playback Boost' 4
alsa_amixer sset 'Capture Boost' 5

Press Menu, choose Save & Exit
Reboot system

Hi i'm new here cant speak or write talk phillipino just to let you know.

I saw that the tom tec 10" is also supported in here
Now i have one but it's confusing the box says ATF3417-7 which in turn is wrong as far i can see and the last digit should be a 10 (if i'm correct).

In the system info it gives me the next lines.

Is option 18 as displayed on the screen caps the correct one to flash it with??

Other sugestion
It would benice that there is a option in the menu to backup your original version first before over writing it with an other one, so you can allways go back to it's original state.

Been flashing sat receivers for ages now, and these allways give you a change to go back to original roms by making a backup first (just a hint).

If you know any to my questions please reply in english, my phillipino is terrible better yet i cant understand a word of it.
