    Entry No. 1
    A Teacher, A Crusader

    I fight ignorance, using a chalk as my sword;
    Slashing not the enemy but the blackboard;

    For wound and mistake, eraser will be the aid;
    And strive hard for the assignment to be made;

    I'll give my final blow, the examination;
    Prepare the weapon and be ready for action;

    Finally it's recess, time to regain my strength;
    After that, i'll charge mathematics for the end;

    And here i remain fighting, as a brave warrior;
    And still remain teaching, as a great mentor!
    Entry No. 2
    Educator

    Being a teacher is a vocation
    They use chalk in teaching their lesson
    They also use blackboard during the discussion
    And with the use of eraser they clear every portion

    Making their assignment gave
    Answering their examination prepared
    Correcting your mistakes made
    In their recess they have a share

    A teacher is a good occupation
    As they taught mathematics
    In step-by-step instruction,
    They can spread education

    Thanks for being a good mentor
    For showing us a good adviser
    As we saw a good instructor
    You are the best educator.
    Entry No. 3
    Quality Pedagogy

    The moment you wrote with a chalk,
    My mind began to inflame and walk.
    You taught me from nothing,
    That brought me into something.

    I was just an empty blackboard before,
    Words can't tell how you molded me to soar.
    Empty piece became a painted wall,
    Eraser in life can't wipe it all.

    You said, "Life is like an assignment,
    Struggle hard for a good settlement.
    Oblivion fades every time I held my pen,
    To finish this thing with uplifting chin.

    The feeling of emptiness vanished rapidly.
    The awareness of my mind opens reality,
    That life brings many examination.
    As I retort, my pen flows for liberation.

    You've been planting seeds for a long time,
    Hoping to reap something from a child's mind.
    Crowned with greatness, sit calmly, have a recess,
    Both you and I knows you're also in stress.

    You shared your knowledge and tactics,
    Especially in the subject called Mathematics.
    Though it's difficult and complicated,
    Still you loved to teach us ,unhesitated.

    We were together in harmony,
    A chorus of notes and melody,
    Arise to the stream of victory,
    Because you're a hero, a mentor to everybody.

    I love the topic, teachers. Saludo ako sa mga guro, mga makabagong bayani.

    Pa-boto po: I vote for Entry #3.
    Reason:
    1. Nice comparison of yourself to that teacher's teaching materials, like na like ko.
    2. Ni-share nya ang kanyang experience bilang student kaya naka-relate ako, mas naging patok sakin.
    3. Kaonti lamang ang vocabulary word, pang-masa ang poem, madaling intindihin ng lahat.

    Share ko lang itong munting idea tungko sa mga guro:
    A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, touches a heart.

    Salamat!

    for the 3 poems.. bigla akong nag reminisce, during those days, hindi ko close ang mga teachers ko, then i realized na, kahit hindi kami ganung ka close, naturuan nya ako ng maayos, nabigyan nya ako ng sapat na kaalaman at maging isa sa mga sandata ko sa hinaharap..

    (sayang di ako nakagawa ng tula, inatake ng katamaran, haha)

    anyways, my vote will got to entry #3.. aside from the nose-bleeding title (ano ba yung pedagogy? haha), naisip ko na pano kung walang teachers? mahirap eh, andyan sila para tayo ay gabayan sa pag-aaral, nagtitiis sila, ginagawa ang lahat, alang alang sa kanilang mga estudyante..

    Goodluck sa inyo

    I vote for poem #3. It brings me back when i was in highschool. Kahit na whiteboard/marker na gamit namin. Nagiging madaldal ako sa blackboard pag may hawak akong chalk. Tahimik lang ako palagi sa room. =)

    Congrats sa mga entry lahat maganda

    Anyway, my vote is for entry# 3

    Napaka imaginative ng pagkakagamit ng mga words na dapat nasa poem

    Lahat ng pangulo at matataas na tao sa buong mundo ay nasimula sa guro..
    Ang mga guro natin ang humulma ng mga isip natin mula pagkabata..
    Kaya kung matalino ka wag mo ipagmayabang ang sarili mo..
    Ang mga guro ang dapat ipagmayabang natin dahil wala ang mga katalinuhan natin kung di dahil sa kanila
    Teacher is Hero. Hero is Teacher

    maganda lahat ng entry..
    but entry no. 1 caught my attention..
    kasi very short and simple yung poem pero ang galing ng analogy..
    sa ganong style, madaling nailabas yung thought ng poem..
    so.. i vote for entry no. 1

    I vote for entry no. 3.

    naging maayos ang pagkakagawa ng tula

    halatang hindi minadali, binigyan din niya ng natatagong mga kahulugan ang mga linya na mapapaisip ka kung ano ba ang ibig sabihin nun.
