mga ka symb, pwde po ba mag partition ng hardisk ng hindi nag foformat? Nung bumili kasi ako ng bagong unit may kasama na xang os na trial, ginawan ko ng paraan aun na reset ko ung trial into permanent. Nag aalangan ako i format uli kc ok ung OS na binigay sakin. Sana may makatulong. Tnx po.

Left click the "Start" button located in the lower left side of your desktop.

Left click the "Control Panel" button located on the resulting start menu.

Double left click the "Administrative Tools" icon located within the control panel window.

Double left click the "Computer Management" icon in the resulting list from Step 3.

Left click the "Disk Management" heading in the leftmost frame of the resulting computer management window. This will show a detailed listing of your installed drives in the middle frame of the computer management window.

Right click the drive on which you wish to create a partition, from the list of available drives within the bottom portion of the center frame. This will produce a context menu of available drive operations.

Left click the "Shrink Volume" heading from the context menu.

Enter an amount of hard drive space, measured in megabytes, by which to shrink the currently active partition. The amount you enter here will be the maximum size of the new partition you create.

Click the "Shrink" button to begin the partition shrinking process. This process may take a few minutes, depending on the size of your hard drive.

Right click the newly formed unallocated space on your selected hard drive after the completion of the shrinking process. This will once again produce a context menu.

Left click the "Format" heading to produce the format dialog box.

Ensure that the correct file system that you desire is selected from the file system pulldown menu, and click the "OK" button. This will begin the process of formatting the unallocated space into a usable drive partition. The newly formatted partition will also be assigned a system drive letter.

Restart your computer upon completion of the formatting of the new partition to ensure all system-level changes go into effect.

nag try po akong ng ganyan pero olats po... yung hdd ko ginamitan ko ng magic partition, na process naman nya, na hati nya ang 80g ko to 40g kaso po sa boot nag blue-blue screen of death xa... better po install ka nlng ng bagong fresh na OS... madami naman pong source d2... hehe..
