I'm wondering whether ito ang kukunin ko na phone, A60 or Alcatel OT 990. Upgrading from S60. Any thoughts?

okay naman to so far. pero kung matiisin ka. wait ka na lang sa viewsonic na phone. may tatlong dual sim sila na pinalabas and all are ICS.
and also, expect that meron nang 4" na gigabyte gplus 1355 na bagong labas din at dual sim, but same specs sa stellar. expected na irerebrand na naman to ng cherry mobile.

Thanks, yung hinahanap ko lang naman kasi is yung siguradong mauupgrade to ICS and 8k or less ang price. Sawa na ako sa palagi kong nakikita na Galaxy Y, and I think I can give the less recommended, albeit more capable and more value-for-money spec'd phones, a much-deserved try.
malabong magiging ICS ang stellar since napakababa ng specs nito. pero wait tayo sa official release ng ibang phone running ICS.
on the contrary pwede naman sya malagyan kasi qualcomm ang chipset nya if we're lucky, may isang magaling na dev that will make custom rom and eventually will port it to ICS! sana nga!!!
galaxy ace with same chipset is having an update to ics courtesy of miui but still on its early stages but still its ics!

gandang umaga mga tol... nainip na ako sa cherry...
kya nag update na ako s 0.48.2 RUS ROM ok nman cya stable..
sabi nga nila...
pero s Stellar ko nawala ung data connection switcher and data connection valve widget.... sa mga nag update s 0.48.2 rus rom nalawala rin ba?
lagi ko kc ginagamit yung mga widget na yun kya nag hanap ako ng paraan.... solution ko.. nag update ako s 0.52.0 eeu rom
so far stable cya and meron na rin cyang data widget...
rootable cya using superoneclick link2sd and cpu tuner working graet naman...
kahit ako rin biglang pumasok sa utak ko na iapply ung 1.4.2 eeu rom and so far ok naman, napagana ko ung plants vs zombies kasi napansin ko na ang 3d driver ng stellar rom ay ung opengls 2.0 compared with the rom na nka cm 1.1 kaya very happy with my decision na iapply ang rom. kaya lang parang d yata pwede iroot tong rom na to. nilabas lang kasi sya nung feb 17. kaya d pa sya pwede iroot same with v0.56.5 rus rom as per sir jokab1.
mas bumagal ung battery drain unlike sa stellar rom kaya parang may problem nga tong battery ko. gusto ko iroot kasi para madelete ko ung batterystats.bin para maobserve ko pa tong battery ko.
imo, the stock stellar rom has many bugs, under observation parin tong reborn phone and so far its ok...
sir ganun pa rin ayaw talga maroot failed to install busybox atbp....
meron din ako nung v2.3.3 and also ung doomlord ayaw din same message lang nakuha ko...
ung memory nya ganun din 180 parin ung internal memory nya....
siguro nga unrootable talaga ang v1.4.2 eeu rom...pero ok naman sya khit d rooted compared with stellar rom!
