    Another Tips for Low RAM PC users

    Introduction

    pano ba nagooperate si Windows?

    ganito yan.

    next is

    What I mean is example

    ok so paano ba pataasin ito?

    paano gawin?

    Rigjt click mo si My Computer then click Properties then look for RAM

    Paano naman siya Patataasin?

    XP

    Right click My Computer
    Properties
    Advance tab
    click Settings sa Performance Section
    Click Advance Click Change
    kung marami kayog drive pwede niyong hatuhatiin or isahan nalang
    tapos select Custom or Custom size

    Always same dapat ang Initial at Max size

    7 users

    Right click My Computer
    Properies
    Advance System Settings sa left
    go to Advance tab
    Settings under Perfrmance section
    Advance tab ulet
    tapos Custom or Cusyom Size
    tapos same dapat ang Initial and Max size

    or

    2-3 times as your RAM

    tapos click Set
    tapos apply or close para naka restart ka na

    ----------------------------------------------
    Information
    1bytes = 8 bits
    1kilbytes = 1024 bytes
    1megabytes = 1024 kilobytes
    1giabytes = 1024 megabytes

    kilo=1,000
    mega=1,000,000

    b=bits
    B=bytes

    may pinagkaiba po yan mas malaki yung bytes (B)

    yan para masolve niyo na kung paano i times ang RAM niyo

    example

    1gb RAM is equal to

    1024 megabytes or MB X 3
    or
    1024 MB X 2

    How to Calculate Internet speed

    kilo=thousand
    mega=million

    b=bits (smaller)
    B=bytes (bigger)

    original na pag coconvert na mga size

    8 bits = 1 bytes
    1024 bytes = 1 kilobytes
    1024 kilobytes = 1 megabytes
    1024 megabytes = 1 gigabytes

    sa mga internet componies naman they use

    1000 instead of 1024 to express MB and Mb .. KB and Kb

    so sakanila 1000 kilobytes ay 1 megabytes na

    Example:

    Note: wag papaloko sa internet companis (panis talaga sila)

    tignan niyo "b" gamit nila para mag mukang malaki instead of "B" kase liliit yun.

    512 kbps speed solution

    512 X 1000 (kase kilo diba?) = 512,000 bits

    512,000 bits / 8 = 64,000 bytes ( bits to bytes) para di kayo malito ganito lage gawin niyo

    512,000 bits x 1 bytes / 8 bits (yung ikokonvert itimes sa hinahanap tapos divide mo kung ilan ba siya dun sa hinahanap)

    64,000 bytes / 1024 = 62.5 kilobytes

    or

    64,000 bytes X 1 kilobytes / 1024 bytes

    yan dapat ang takbo ng internet natin sa Windows kaso mabagal parin diba? pero kung itatry mo magdownloa using iphone diba mabilis? kase may mga process or services na nakikigamit ng internet mo hahaha

    madalas pag nagdodownload tayo sa chrome or sa firetoz kilobytes lang diba? kaya stop na kayo or kung gusto mo magpatuloy proceed

    62.5 kilobytes / 1024 = 0.0610 megabytes

    or

    62.5 kilobytes X 1 megabytes / 1024 kilobytes

    kunh niyong gigabytes kayo na bahala kaya niyo na yan

    How to speed up internet connection by 20%

    xp and 7

    open run

    or

    start run sa xp

    sa 7 dun sa search box type niyo ir dun sa right side sa baba ng mga documents videos control panel

    or shortcut

    press windows button + R

    between ctrl and alt yung logo ng windows

    type gpedit.msc

    Click Start–>Run–>and type gpedit.msc. Hit enter.
    This opens the group policy editor.
    Then go to:
    Local Computer Policy –>Computer Configuration –>Administrative Templates –>Network –>QOS Packet Scheduler –>Limit Reservable Bandwidth

    Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the ‘Explain‘ tab:

    “By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default.”

    So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%.

    How to speed up Internet part 2

    open run or shortcut sa run

    windows button + R

    type Regedit

    and follow these steps

    2.Host Resolution Priority Tweak host name resolution priority Windows 2k/XP

    First, open the Windows Registry using Regedit, and (after backing up) navigate to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\ServiceProvider
    Note the following lines (all hex dwords):

    Class = 008 (8) – indicates that TCP/IP is a name service provider, don’t change.
    LocalPriority = 1f3 (499) – local names cache
    HostsPriority = 1f4 (500) – the HOSTS file
    DnsPriority = 7d0 (2000) – DNS
    NetbtPriority = 7d1 (2001) – NetBT name-resolution, including WINS
    What we’re aiming to do is increase the priority of the last 4 settings, while keeping their order. The valid range is from -32768 to +32767 and lower numbers mean higher priority compared to other services. What we’re aiming at is lower numbers without going to extremes, something like what’s shown below should work well:
    Change the “Priority” lines to:
    LocalPriority = 005 (5) – local names cache
    HostsPriority = 006 (6) – the HOSTS file
    DnsPriority = 007 (7) – DNS
    NetbtPriority = 008 (8) – NetBT name-resolution, including WINS

    How to lower Ping/Latency working posa Garena PH

    ano ba ang ping?

    ang ping o latency ay ang delay time nag pagsend ng suunod na data

    anu ang bandwidth?

    ang bandwidth na binibigay satin ng mga companis ay yung gano kabilis ang takbo ng internet natin

    pano babaan an ping?

    follow mo to

    A few hints to lower your ping in many online games:
    1) Run regedit and find the following location…
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\servic es\Tcpip\
    Parameters\Interfaces\
    2) Add a new DWORD (32-bit) named “TcpAckFrequency” and set its value to “1″ under the desired interface.
    3) Add a new DWORD (32-bit) named “TCPNoDelay” and set its value to “1″ as well.
    4) Next, find this location…
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Paramet ers
    5) Add a new DWORD (32-bit) naned “TCPNoDelay” and set its value to “1″.
    6) Close regedit, reboot, and you’re done.
    This was taken from other sites. I just put it on my blog for my own reference purposes. Enjoy!

    How to Fix Windows 7 network slow problem?

    1) Disable Autotuning
    Disabling autotuning will help much on DNS lookup and network discovery. It improves the data transfer speed also over the network. Disabling autotuning in windows 7 is very similar to Windows vista method. Read more here about disabling autotuning in windows vista.
    To recap important steps,
    Start cmd as administrator, and follow the commands as shown in below example.

    star menu tapos search mo cmd right click tapos run as admin

    2) Remove RDC ( Remote Differential Compression)
    This feature introduced with Windows Vista to transfer data over network in compressed format. The same RDC feature continued in Windows 7 also. Since most of the old operating systems came before vista do not support this RDC feature, it slows down network data transfer in windows 7. You can remove this RDC (Remote Differential Compression) in windows 7 by visiting control panel and programs and features. Click on ‘Turn Windows features on or off’, as shown below.
