How to install and uninstall IPv6 in Windows XP


Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6), is the full form of IPv6 which is the "next generation" protocol designed by the
IETF to replace the current version Internet Protocol (IP Version 4 ("IPv4")). Windows XP includes IPv6 implementation, but IPv6 must be installed.


How to install and uninstall IPv6:

To install IPv6 on your Windows XP computer, follow these steps:

Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, and then click Command Prompt.

At the command prompt, type netsh int ipv6 install and press the Enter key on your keyboard.

Close the Command Prompt window.


To uninstall IPv6 on your Windows XP computer, follow these steps:

Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, and then click Command Prompt.

At the command prompt, type: netsh int ipv6 uninstall and press the Enter key on your keyboard.

Close the Command Prompt window and restart the computer.

before:
Connected ako sa freemynet at smartbro sim registered to unlisurf. Speed: 3-10kbps even without vpn...
wala pa yung mga wordings na inindicate ko sa taas sa Ipconfig

After:
i type the command in the CMD, which is i am currently connected to VPN and SMartbro.
eto ung major improvement.::

my speed raises to 120-170kpbs and currently downloading files.

bro, naiinstall ko naman ang ipv6 sa system ko, pero parang wala naman syang gamit, media disconnected...
actually, maagal ko na alam kung paano mag-install ng ipv6 sa XP,
pero hindi ko makita kung anong use at purpose nito...

As far as i know If your router doesn't support IPV6 then you will not be able to use IPv6 .
