Recently, Mitsubishi Motors hyped up the arrival of the all-new Strada / Triton by showcasing the XRT Concept at this year's Bangkok International Motor Show. This led us to think we're only months away from seeing the production version of the all-new pickup truck. And indeed, Mitsubishi won't keep us waiting much longer.

The Japanese manufacturer has announced the all-new Strada / Triton pick-up truck will be launched this July, kicking off a series of new model launches that Mitsubishi has scheduled for the year.

The all-new Strada / Triton will be the first vehicle that Mitsubishi is launching for fiscal year 2023. Based on the brand presentation, the pick-up truck will be followed by the production-spec XFC Concept and the hybrid Xpander MPV.

Numerous sightings of the all-new Strada / Triton in camouflaged form have surfaced on the internet in the previous months, where the pick-up truck is spotted testing in the Arctic Circle, in Europe, and most recently in Thailand. But as of now, details regarding powertrain specifications are still very much being kept secret by Mitsubishi.

Unlike the XFC Concept and Xpander HEV, the all-new Strada / Triton will go on sale in global markets. But since Mitsubishi is focusing its efforts on growth in Southeast Asia, the ASEAN market is getting first dibs on the pick-up truck before it goes on sale in Europe by September.

Once the all-new Strada / Triton arrives, this should also give us a hint of what to expect with the next-generation Nissan Navara, as the two will share the same platforms as part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.
