Unlocking a Blackberry Curve 8520 phone from Globe Telecom is free and easy. By unlocking your Blackberry Curve 8520 phone you will be able to use your Blackberry Curve with any phone carrier network as long as they are a GSM carrier. Before you can unlock your Blackberry Curve 8520 you will need an unlock code. to get the unlock code you can either contact Globe Telecom Philippines or a trusted online vendor like UnlockGenie.com. I have included all the steps below for getting a free Blackberry Curve 8520 unlock code to unlock your phone. Here are the steps on how to unlock your Blackberry Curve 8520 completely free:

How To Unlock a Blackberry Curve 8520 from Globe Telecom Philippines

1. Turn on your Blackberry Curve 8520 phone with your current network/service provider’s SIM card.
2. Using the menu go to Settings Menu -> SIM card and press select.
3. While holding the SHIFT key, type mepd.
4. You should now see the five locking categories listed.
5. While holding the SHIFT KEY, type mep2.
6. Release the shift key.
7. You will now be prompted to enter the Network MEP code.
8. Enter the Unlock Code.
9. Enter Return/Enter.
10. Your Blackberry Curve 8520 phone should then be unlocked.

Now you should have yourself a fully unlocked Blackberry Curve 8520. Before you can use your newly unlocked phone on a new phone carrier’s network, you must buy a SIM card and order a voice plan with that carrier. If the steps above did not work on your Blackberry Curve 8520, do not try repeating as this could just permanently lock your mobile phone.

Guys alam niyo saan ako makakakuha ng code para maunlock po ung BB ko thank you :):praise:

HERE'S THE ALTERNATIVE WAY.... sa akin din kasi puro reading phone data na pero ang tagal
ito n lng ginawa ko..

Blackberry MEP Reader - No USB cable required

1- Power phone ON
2- Hold down the ALT CAPS H (all together), or hold down the ALT (bottom left) and type EACE then release the ALT
For Storm 9500,9530,9550, hold the BACK arrow, and tap the screen in the following areas: TOP LEFT, TOP RIGHT, TOP LEFT, TOP RIGHT.
3- You will enter in to the HELP ME screen
4- Please copy the following information exactly as they appear on the phone
5- PIN , Pin must be entered all in lower case letters, 30e0ee0d
6- App Version, App Version Exactly with the dots, space and brakets, as it appears 4.7.1.61 (124)
There is always a space between the last number of the APP version, in this case 61 and the first bracket. This very important.
7- Up time, Uptime only enter the numbers
8- You must remain at the HELP ME screen
9- Go to the following link
http://www.webalice.it/zibri/escr.html
10- Enter the PIN , App Version, and Uptime exactly as they are in the fields
11- Make sure there are NO leading spaces after any field you fill up
12- The key will appear
13- On the HELP ME screen , type in the key given. NOTHING will appear on the screen when you type in the key. Just use the dial pad to enter the key given.
14- For example, if your key is 4FE15B47, Hold down the ALT key for every number you enter, and do NOT press the ALT for the letters. So type ALT 4, release the ALT key, then enter FE, hold ALT dial 15, release the ALT ... The ALT key must be held down while dialing in a number
15- You will then enter the Engineering Menu
16- Scroll down and select OS Engineering Screen
17- Scroll down and select Device Information
18- Scroll down and you will find the MEP-xxxxx-xxx

then

gamitin muna ung CALCULATOR...
since meron ka na IMEI at MEP
makukuha muna na ung mga unlock code mpe1-mpe5

thnx for this site:

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry 6xxx 7xxx: ie 6230, 7100, 7290 etc.:
Select Options menu on BB.
Now you select SIM CARD menu. To be able to see this you have to type this on the keypad on phone : (TEXT WILL NOT APPEAR ON THE SCREEN until you enter the unlock code)
Type 'MEPD' for all models except 7100 in which case in case use 'MEPPD'.
Usually you should see "active" NET lock. Now in order to disable this lock type 'MEP2' respectively 'MEPP2' if phone is 7100 and will appear a dialog asking for code. NOTE: You must use the "alt" or "shift" key to enable numbers so example would be: m-e-p-"alt key"-2.
Now you should see the place to enter your net unlock code. (if not, you didn't type in mep2 or mepp2 properly.)
Here you must enter the "NET Unlock Code" that the bb unlocker showed you and hit return.
