Marami naman mas maganda dyan like Avast Free, Bitdefender Free, Kaspersky Free and other popular Free AVs.

Keep in mind that walang perfect na AV. At saka wag basta mag rely sa Antivirus mo. Dapat think before you click.

No amount of anti-virus is enough para maging immune to all threats ang any PC. Less rin ang need i-maintain ang PC kasi no more additional junks, registry clutter & errors, registry or hdd fragmentation dahil all changes will revert upon restart (unless configured.)

You don't even need Deep Freeze IMO. As long as you have a good AV with up to date signatures, Keep your OS, Drivers, and Software up to date, Don't open suspicious links or files, and Common sense.

If common sense is enough then there's no need for AV's in the first place. Hackers won't care if you have it or not, won't care about your sense of privacy, or the law. Viruses and exploits are evolving one way or another that's the reason why virus databases/definitions are being updated regularly but even then they can only filter as much. Viruses and malwares will always find a way to get past through your security. As proven by history again and again, just AV and common sense isn't enough to keep all malwares off the bay even if you're careful.

As for the need for DeepFreeze, really that depends on the user and how he uses pc. It's additional layer of protection and a solid one. If it won't give you any issue or inconvenience then why not? (give it a try)

Lastly, if your an IT student, IT specialist, aspiring programmer or a comp. geek, there's no way you won't download and open "suspicious" files in your life ;)

P.S.: The suspicious links are for horny and curious cats :D

If you're just an ordinary person like most of us and you just browsing popular sites like Facebook then my opinion is enough. It's easy to do and it's FREE. Who the hell would spend thousand of pesos to buy Deep Freeze while there is so many security software out there that can protect you for FREE. Unless, your computer is shared that you want to roll back any modifications to your OS. That's common in Schools and Offices. But as home user, you don't need actually.

I disagree with this part "just AV and common sense isn't enough to keep all malwares off the bay even if you're careful."
There's more but I don't want to talk about.
