dala kasi ang ibig sabihin ng flash sa cell phone

1. ito ay proseso ng pagpapalit/paguupdate ng firmware o software ng isang cellphone

2. ito ay proseso ng pagpalit ng codes / imei / security numbers / service lock / network provider lock

diba po nakazip po un... try mo po iinstall using sa pc kasi po pag sa cell mo pinalitan ng zip to jar nagloloko talaga xa yan po kasi ginawa q sakin weh ok naman po...

sir pano ibalik sa Nokia way yung sa update? nasa warranty pa tong c3 ko at may sira, baka malaman nila na ginalaw ko at ma-void ang warranty. pa help lang

UPDATE = process of updating the phone's firmware. You can check your current firmware by typing *#0000#
may makikita kang "current version" , check mo kung 4.60, 7.20, 7.25 o 8.63
nagkakaroon ng update para maayos ang mga "BUGS" (unwanted applications, error at hindi magandang performance) ng mga old firmwares!!!
at habang nagtatagal, nagiging ALMOST 99.9% na BUGFIXED na ang mga FIRMWARES.

ung akin nasa warranty pa ren.. kinabukasan flash ko agad..! haha

anung klaseng ppm? san makakakuha.. toinks..

Hindi kompatibol? sa akin naman maayos at walang problema...
take note : .zip lang yung nakaAttached ha, hindi na irerename yun JUST EXTRACT!!!
tapos icopy mo sa memory card yun mga .jar na OM.
at presto! use the settings sa *Free browsing*
gamit ko sya ngayon.

* Hacking your Nokia C3 *​

STEPS:

1. Follow instruction # 5, 6 and 7 on * Updating *


2. Then click Product > Product profile


3. Browse the .ppu file at C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-614. No .ppu file? click here!


4. Click Activate.


5. At number 48 Java TCK Support, select Java TCK - On.


6. Finally click Write. (or "READ" muna then "Java TCK - On" , and "Write")

Important: minsan bumabalik sa "Off" yung "Java TCK - On" , pag nagkaganon, reinstall Phoenix or try another PC, and hack again.​

7. Then it will look like this.

8. Restart your phone. "Warning TCK flag set" will appear on your phone. (always during restarting phone and exiting an Application)


9. After the welcome screen, a prompt will ask: "Test in RNDIS USB mode? 'Yes or No' " , select No. If you accidentally press Yes USB will not work, dont worry just restart your phone and this time select No.


10. Done. You can now minimize application. The annoying "Allow application to use network for sending and receiving data? Yes or No" is now removed while opening and/or connecting an application such as Ebuddy & Opera Mini and etc.

Go to your Application > Option > Application access > Communication > Network access > Ask first time
Go to your Application > Option > Application access > Communication > Messaging > Ask first time
Go to your Application > Option > Application access > Communication > Connectivity > Always allowed
Go to your Application > Option > Application access > Data access > Read user data > Ask first time
Go to your Application > Option > Application access > Data access > Add and edit data > Ask first time​

* Minimizing Applications and Multitasking on Nokia C3 *​

Requirements: Hacked C3.


1. Select any of .jar applications.


2. Open it with WINZIP


3. Drag the META-INF folder to your desktop. Open it and edit the MANIFEST.MF text file by adding this text to the lowest portion:

Nokia-MIDlet-no-exit: true​

4. It should look like this: (example only)

5. Then click File > Save.


6. Now drag back the edited META-INF folder to the Winzip window (in step 2), replacing the old META-INF folder, if asks for replacing/adding prompt, just click Yes/Add.

7. Then exit the Winzip. Now you have your Modded Application (minimized ready)


8. Now Install the Modded Applications. Open it.


9. Minimize it by pressing the Red (end call) Key or Power Button , Maximize by clicking/opening it again.


10. Multitask by after minimizing such apps, select any other apps, read/create text message, make/recieve a call, play music/radio and so on...


12. You now have the power of minimizing and multitasking using a S40 phone.

* Reviving Dead Nokia C3 *

Dead Phone - happens after a unseccessful flashing caused by incompatible or wrong modification of flash files, resulting to an automatic turning of phone to ON and OFF alternatively or draining of battery during updating. And with this situation you won't be able to use your phone any more unless you REVIVED IT!

STEPS:

1. Connect dead C3 to PC via usb cable. Open Phoenix. Select "NO CONNECTION"

2. Select File > Open Product

3. Select RM-614 and click OK.

4. Then select Flashing > Firmware Update

5. At image above click the three dots enclosed with icon box (the one colored Light Blue) , then a pop up will appear. Select the only Product code and click OK. And it will look like this..

6. Then check Dead phone USB flashing and Refurbish.

7. Wait until "Firmware updating succeded". (like a normal flashing process above)


8. Your phone will remain OFF , and if you turn it on, it says: "test mode" dont panic its normal just remove the battery and usb connector. Reinsert the battery and open your phone.


9. Congaratulations! You have revived your dead phone!

then burahin lahat ng messages.
Tsaka mo ulit iupdate sa phoenix.
Then do a reset.
Then restore backup na ulit.

Waaah..pashare naman po ng maliit kong accomplishment..hehe..

Sa wakas nakagawa rin ng blackberry inspired na nokia c3.. yung mga icons sa menu lang napalitan ko dito.. bale hindi 100% napalitan yung icons kagaya nung maliliit...

pang 7.25 po iyan.. Kung 8.63 po ang firmware, d po pwede gamitin ang ppm file nyan..

Pero meron na po nagpost dito na pang 8.63 hanapin mo na lang po kay sir arondis po ata.. Pang euroasia variant yun...
Kung phil. variant naman ang gamit mo meron ng naipost si sir mipfer dito backthread ka lang...

"If errors occurs like: "failed to set phone to flash mode" , hung up in "Initializing", "Product flashing aborted" or unexpected exit of Phoenix, just exit Phoenix, and remove the battery and usb connector. Reinsert the battery and open your phone. Then go back and start at STEP 5 again. "

ginawa ko naman xa paulit ulit pero ang ending "failed to set phone to flash mode"yan yung nakalagay..nde na xa tumautuloy countdown start in 25secs..anu kaya mali kong nagawa or may nde ba ko nagawa?..pa help po pls...
