    Bad camera po especially at LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS. its resolution is at 8MP but it is software-driven resolution parang pinilit maging 8MP, i compared it the Flare camera, and sorry guys WE LOST. Flare has better camera than ASTRA.

    either you have not installed the drivers for your phone as listed in step 1 or your PC cannot communicate with ADB. My guess is the drivers.

    you do not need to enter RECOVERY in using this rooting procedure, you just need to install the correct drivers for your phone.

    Lewa you downloaded is possibly corrupted. Download again, or better still stick to CWM na lang para di ka ma problema. anyway we dont use recovery much due to scarcity of custom rom for astra.

    Did you do SWAP sdcard1 with sdcard2 before you reset? then SWAP it back to original settings first.

    Have you actually clicked on RESTORE on your phone? Do it and it will be successful.

    and FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT ROOT on the FIRST TRY. try switching to another PC or Laptop and repeat the procedure. Some PC have software that may conflict with ADB, driver installation, etc. so try another PC, it will work.

    I think I have two people using A898 who have posted in my Rooting ASTRA thread that they have successfully rooted their A898 using the ASTRA procedure. If you want (that is if you really want) I can change the title of the thread to include A898.

    Backup your original Titan Recovery and once you have confirmed that it has been backed up then you can try flashing the Astra Recovery. anyway, pangalan lang pinagkaiba nila, yung scatter file, chipset, etc PAREHAS. if it doesn't work then flash back the Orig Recovery that you backed up...

    nope dont install it, rather copy paste it on your SYSTEM folder. look for MMS.apk in your SYSTEM/APPS folder i think then rename the MMS.apk there to MMS.bak then copy the file you extracted from GALAXY S Duos then Reboot. although i wont guarantee it will work, but try it anyway, you were even...

    Yup tama yung 2nd proc mo, just replace the framework-res.apk. pero copy/backup the orig framework-res.apk just in case. para maibalik mo pag hindi maganda ang kalabasan.
