Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

classic na to ah... magkano budget?
suggestions:
  • SSD - 256gb or higher (boot drive and mostly used apps/games)
  • RAM - since 2 slot lang ram slot mo, palit ng 2x8gb ddr4 (2666mhz)
  • GPU - di ko alam kung ano power supply mo kaya i could only recommend those without a requirement for PCIE power. e.g. 1050ti, 1650, etc. kung meron PCIE power, siguro rx580/570 na 2nd hand.

CPU Cooler: Be quiet or artic cooler (check nalang size at space sa case)

Tanong ko lang sa mga expert dyan, if may budget ako na 20k for pc, bumigay na kasi luma ko palit bago na, mas maganda bang bilhin ko na lahat sa lazada or shoppee? Or pumunta ako ng Gilmore?

Motherboard b450 (prefer ko MSI or asrock)
Ryzen 5 5600g

1. Saan ako makakatipid?
2. Magkano ang expectation na matitipid ko?
3. Time at pagod ok lang basta makatipid :) haha

mas okay if pupunta ka mismo sa mga stores para makakuha ng prices nila then pakita mo sa kabilang store pwedeng pwede nila babaan ang presyo usually ganyan ang technique if sa recycled parts is kasama yung PSU... i would suggest bili ka din bagong PSU na true rated total nag invest kana pinaka importante jan talaga is PSU

20k budget
motherboard b450 - php 5.5-5.7k (reference shopee)
mobo(b450)+cpu combo(r5 5600g) 15.5k-15.7k (reference shopee)
monitor under 8k, kung hindi naman 144hz sobra pa ata 8k mo pero choose known brands for quality and warranty

2. Magkano ang expectation na matitipid ko? ...>either sakto sa budget mo or konti lang idadagdag mo

gusto ko sana upgrade monitor ko. meron ako I3-6100+gtx750ti at g4650+gtx1050 both have 19" monitor. pwede ba ako mag upgrade sa 24" monitor? for gaming. thanks
Pwede naman... Also... Hindi na basehan ang diagonal size ng monitor ngayon as reference of compatibility.
There are 6" displays that supports 4k resolution
I think sa ngayon, naka-connect ka using vga port. Sa mga nabanggit mong video card, most likely nay support sila for dvi, hdmi or even displayport
Next, ay anong resolution ang gusto mo. At 24" at considering naman na entry level ang video card mo, go for 1920x1080 or 1080p
Then panel type, kung pwede, get an IPS display para mas maganda kulay. Better version is a VA panel.
60hz standard, 75hz a little better. 90hz and above is advisable
