**Rooting via CWM Recovery**

-=Flashing CWM Recovery=-
1. Extract all .rar files using winrar or any extractor.

2. Install OTU, VCOM Driver and/or Alcatel ADB Driver to your windows based PC/Laptop.
3. In your phone...go to Settings>About phone>Advanced settings. Set to ON and check USB debugging.

4. Turn OFF your phone.
5. Open Flash_tool.exe

6. Click Scatter-loading then locate the file MT6575_Android_scatter_emmc.txt

7. Check the box named "RECOVERY" then click it (hindi ung box na may check, dapat ung mismong RECOVERY) then locate the file CWM_Recovery_OT5020.img select it then click OPEN.

8. Click Download button on SP Flash Tool. Note: (Download warning) Yes mo lang.

9. Connect your phone using your USB Cable to the computer.
10. May RED then YELLOW bar ka na makikita if na detect na yung phone mo nung SP Flash Tool. Wait mo lang hanggang matapos ang Downloading.

11. If everything passes without errors, unplug the phone, reinsert battery and boot to recovery by pressing power + volume up.
12. You should boot in CWM recovery. Ready na tayo sa pagflash ng Superuser to gain root access.

-=Rooting your phone=-
1. While still on CWM recovery, plug the phone into PC again.
2. Navigate using volume up and down buttons. Press Power button to select and Back soft key to go back.
3. Select mounts and storage>mount USB storage.
4. Copy the root-inspire-2.zip to your sdcard.
5. After copying, select unmount and go back, then unplug your phone.
6. Select install zip from sdcard>choose zip from sdcard>root-inspire-2.zip and select yes - Install root-inspire-2.zip
7. It will flash the app to the system including all needed binaries.
8. Reboot the phone and wait. It will boot normally and no data will be lost. You will see superuser app in your app drawer. You are now rooted!


**Rooting via TWRP Recovery**

-=Flashing TWRP Recovery=-

1. Install OTU, VCOM Driver and Universal ADB Driver to your windows based PC/Laptop.
2. In your phone...go to Settings>About phone>Advanced settings. Set to ON and check USB debugging.
3. Turn OFF your phone.
4. Extract SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1304.0.119.rar via winrar or any rar extractor.
5. Open Flash_tool.exe
6. Click Scatter-loading then locate the file MT6575_Android_scatter_emmc.txt
7. Check the box named "RECOVERY" then click it (hindi ung box na may check, dapat ung mismong RECOVERY) then locate the file TWRP Recovery OT5020.img select it then click OPEN.
8. Click Download button on SP Flash Tool. Note: (Download warning) Yes mo lang.
9. Connect your phone using your USB Cable to the computer.
10. May yellow bar ka na makikita if na detect na yung phone mo nung SP Flash Tool. Wait mo lang hanggang matapos ang Downloading.
11. If everything passes without errors, unplug the phone, reinsert battery and boot to recovery by pressing power + volume up.
12. You should boot in TWRP recovery. Ready na tayo sa pagflash ng Superuser to gain root access.

**Halos parehas lang dun sa CWM Recovery**


-=Rooting your phone=-

1. While still on TWRP recovery, plug the phone into PC again.
2. Tap mount in the screen then Mount USB storage.
3. Copy the root-inspire-2.zip to your sdcard.
4. After copying, select unmount and go back, then unplug your phone.
5. Tap install and locate then select root-inspire-2.zip
6. Swipe to confirm flash.
7. Reboot>System.
8 You're done.

Instruction:

1. CWM Recovery installed.
2. Download and Copy Unroot_inpire2.zip to your sdcard.
3. Reboot to Recovery.
4. Install zip from sdcard.
5. Choose zip from sdcard.
6. Navigate to Unroot_inspire2.zip then yes.
7. Reboot your phone.
8. Congratz....your phone is now UNROOTED.

Note: No need to flash stock recovery.

Tips on how to conserve battery charge:
I highly recommend Battery calibration by nema, free sa playstore.

How to calibrate??
1. Install battery calibration
2. Charged your phone until 100%.
3. Run BC, unplug when done on calibration
4. Done!!!

Then, install battery savings apps like,
Greenify and Deep_Sleep_Battery_Saver_Pro

Recommended settings ng DS Battery Saver Pro:
When you install the app, SLUMBERER settings po. But I usually turn on DS Battery Saver Pro when I go to sleep or whenever I don't use it. DS app would automatically turn off your wifi/data connection esp. when the screen turns off to conserve battery po kasi. I suggest turn it on lang po whenever you don't use your phone then turn it off kung may iddownload kayo na file na medyo malaki size. (credits to Marian Pineda)

How to Enable init.d (via Terminal Emulator)

Requirements:
1. Rooted phone
2. Busybox (use "normal install" method, don't use "smart install")
3. Terminal Emulator


Instructions:
1. Download the file term-init
2. Place it in the root of your sdcard directory.
3. Launch terminal emulator.
4. Type: su
5. Grant SuperUser access if prompted
6. Type: sh /sdcard/term-init.sh
7. The script will run and follow the instructions!

TUTORIAL HOW TO INSTALL CROSSBREEDER IN INSPIRE 2


Q:Whats the function of crossbreeder??
Para po sa mga hndi pa nkaka alam kung ao po yung crossbreeder isa po syang tweak sa android device na nirereduce ang GPU Lag in a result of more smooth performance sa isang device.

HOW TO:

1. Download the file CrossBreeder_7.2.13.zip na mkikita sa Link na ito.
(NOTE: KUNG NAG-INSTALL KANA NG CROSSBREEDER AT HINDI PA UPDATED ANG VERSION NG CBreeder MO MAKE SURE NA IDOWNLOAD MO MUNA YUNG UNINSTALL.ZIP NILA BAGO MO IFLASH YUNG BAGONG VERSION PRA MAIWASAN ANG CONFLICTS )

2. After you download the needed file.

3. Turn off your phone

4. Boot your device in CWMRecovery ( Lock Button + Volume Up key)

5. Mount your SDCard

6. Copy the zip file in your SDCard and Click Unmount

7. Click Install Zip file and locate Crossbreeder_7.2.13.zip

8. Reboot device

9. During Reboot process may lalabas na "Android is Upgrading" antayin nyo matapos. after nyan mas smoother na ang performance ng cp nyo

Bago magsimula sa pagkukumpuni at anumang nais gawin sainyong
Teleponong selular maari lamang na wag kalimutan ang "Ginintuang Patakaran"(GOLDEN RULE)

ayon sa pagkakasunod-sunod....
1. Magbackup muna bago magsimula.
2. Wag kayaang matanggal ang USB cable sa telepono o kaya sa kumpyuter habang kasalukuyang nagpa-flash.
3. Wag masyadong makulit. Gamitin muna ang COMMON SENSE bago magtanong at magtanong ng magtanong.


Mga kailangan:

**Flashing thru Custom Recovery**

Instructions:

1. Custom Recovery installed.
2. Idownload at kopyahin mo sa sdcard ang alin man sa gusto mong ROM na para lang sa model ng phone mo.
3. Reboot to Custom Recovery.
4. Wipe Data/Factory reset >>> yes
5. Wipe Cache Partition >> yes
6. Go to Advanced, Wipe Dalvik Cache Partition >> yes
7. Install zip from sdcard
8. Choose zip from sdcard.
9. Navigate to the custom ROM zip file that you copied in your sdcard earlier then yes.
10. Reboot your phone.

Remember: Always make backup before doing anything.

ito ang hanap ko ts.thanks dito.first time android phone user po ako.baka bukas makuha na namin yung Inspire 2.pero nung isang araw pa po ako nagsesearch sa google and forums regarding sa pagroot ng unit na yan.ngayon lang ako nakakita.so if ever baguhan talaga ako magattempt ng pagroot ng phone.hindi po kaya maging risky masyado para sa newbia sa android na gaya ko?hacking s40 pa lang po experience ko sa phone.

anu po masasabi nyo sa mga inspire 2 nyo mga dre? nagandahan rin kasi kami ng asawa ko sa unit kasi kumuha din ng plan mama namin sa smart,inspire 2 ang unit.pero yung samen bilhin na lang namin.magkano sa inyo unit na ito?3700 dito samen.ok po ba so far ang experience nyo with the unit?
Naroot mo na yang sayo jeffmark gamit itong procedure ni ts?

and question din po pala mga master,pag ba rooted na ang phone nagiging network unlocked na rin?ito kasing galing sa smart locked daw sa kanila e..maraming salamat mga master.

rooting and unlocking are two different things. it doesnt mean na pag rooted ang isang phone ay carrier unlocked na sya.
