Good Day. Planning to start encoding anime sana kaso wala ako idea how to start pero may experience aq sa video editing ask ko lang sana kung ano mga preferred apps or any materials sa encoding and the process? Hope Mabigyan nyo aq ng ideas ninyo maraming salamat.

Handbrake - Main application for encoding.

Avidemux - Remux any format without re-encoding. Zero quality loss. E.g: MP4 to MKV (depende sa source) and vice versa. Set the "Video Output" to COPY

MKVToolnixGUI -Remux any format to MKV without re-encoding. Zero quality loss

GMKVextractGUI - Subtitle extractor galing sa video. Assuming na hindi tinanggal ung mga subtitles sa video file.

Aegisub - subtitle editor.

Subtitle Edit - subtitle editor. Pwede rin pang convert sa mga subtitle na ang format ay PGS or SUP na galing sa Bluray. Need manually edit after ma convert. Image recognition kasi kaya pwede magkaroon ng mga errors like ung O pwede maging 0.

x264 - Maraming devices kas supported neto dahil old codec. Standard video codec ito.

x265 - Maliit lang ang size, pero ung quality ay hindi mapapansin or unnoticeable. New codec kaya hindi lahat supported ang codec nato lalo na sa mga TV's. Mas matagal siya i-encode kaysa sa x264.

Handbrake settings. Depende pa rin sayo kung ano trip mo.

Encoder Tune - Animation.
Encoder Level - 4.0-4.2. Mas mataas diyan tulad ng 5. mataas na ung FPS na kayang i-play. Which is not all devices kayang i-play yan up to 172fps.
Encoder Level - 6.0-6.2. 4k to 8k resolution na ito 120fps
