Japanese,chinese,koreans,indonesians,thailanders etc..they all have their own language and their own system of writing which made them unique from one another.
As we already know,we too have our own writing system- the Baybayin script commonly known as Alibata(an improper name actually).
Although the spaniards modified our traditional baybayin script in order to easily transliterate foreign words, the philippines under spanish colonization only made our traditional baybayin script as "obsolete".and so the romanized alphabet became the new system of writing replacing our own native way of writing.
Can you imagine what if,the philippines were never colonized by spain at all? or what if the spaniards never prohibited the use of our traditional baybayin script along with the modified one as well?
