Good news to para sa mga may US or Canadian non-immigrant visas issued in the last 10 years. Then pagdating don hanap kayo job para mabigyan kayo ng temporary foreign worker permit. I heard that it only takes 1 month to file for change of status. Normally a visitor on an ETA is allowed to stay there for 6 months which is ample time to accomplish this. Having at least 1 year work experience will also allow you to file for PR under CEC (Canadian Experience Class) and various provincial nominee programs.

Dreaming is a good start. For starters and depending on your financial situation you need to have a job first, skills and local experience coz consular officials look at those factors when issuing a visa if you're a person who needs one. You need some savings coz Canada is not a cheap place to live in. If your local job doesn't afford you to save you can try working as an OFW in the middle east or elsewhere first where this is possible before moving to Canada. There are reputable recruitment agencies in Manila/Cebu that are looking for workers bound for Canada. You can also search for jobs in Canada's job bank if you don't want to go though an agency. There are employers there who will consider sponsoring a foreign worker and they will do all the legwork for your visa. From what I've gathered it's easier to land a job in Canada if you're already in that country so you might consider applying for a tourist or student visa. Foreign students are allowed to work there for 20 hours a week if I'm not mistaken and if you amass 2 years worth of part-time experience you can apply under Canadian Experience Class for your PR. You might want to consider going into Canadian chat rooms and if you find a potential spouse who's willing to sponsor you even as a live-in partner you can move thru this route as well.
