For me the absolute best comic based tv show right now is Legion. Sadly only 8 episodes and still not finished wait 2 more weeks to be completed.
You also can't pass Breaking Bad. Absolutely one of the best hands down. Complete with only 5 seasons.
Police crime, drug drama - The Wire. Another awesome series. Completed and deemed one of the best.
Another good one is Mr. Robot. Deals with conspiracy, hacking and other mind bending stuff. Sadly still on going. 2 seasons completed.
