How to remove “PLDTMyDSLBiz” wifi SSID prefix in PLDT’s zyxel P-2612HWU-F1 modem/router
This is my first Tutorial post, I’ve been searching the net for this solution pero wala ako mahanap. Nasubukan ko na rin lahat ng possible way until dumating sa point na TELNET commands ang gawin ko and it worked! 

Requirements:
Putty.exe – download it from www.putty.org
Or you can use default telnet client ng windows.
Procedure:
Setup nyo muna yung router nyo the usual way, configure your wan, lan and wlan settings. Sa WLAN settings setup nyo muna yung wifi the normal way, configure your SSID and security settings.
Trick to change ssid:
1. Enable TELNET sa inyong router: under Remote Mgmt>Telnet enable
2. Port forward nyo ang PORT ng telnet. Under NAT > PORT FORWARDING > add port 23 to address 192.168.1.1 (IP Address ng router)
3. Run Putty.exe
4. sa Putty window, select TELNET sa connection type then sa host name lagay nyo IP address ng router 192.168.1.1 then click OPEN.
5. This will ask for password, use your router admin password, pag hindi pa kayo nagpapalit ng password ng router nyo ang default is 1234567890
6. Once accepted na password nyo Type
WLAN ESSID “SSIDNAMETHATYOUWANT”
7. Then press enter. All is set. Mag rereboot un router then yun na napalitan nyo na SSID. Connect na kau sa bagong SSID. Yung password is yun din set nyo na password nun hindi pa natatanggal yung prefix name ng SSID.
