NOTE:kung basag ang LCD/DIGITIZER mo, palit na talaga :P

Guys heto sagot para makatipid kayo kung sakaling nasira ang LCD/Digitizer nyo kung heto ang problema.

YOU NEED:
Solder tools(solder paste either with/without lead flux. mas mahal kasi yung may lead, soldering iron at least 30W and heatgun as optional, wires for teardown, and soldering lead) and solder skills(kahit non-pro pwede basta marunong)
supporting solid copper for teardown for double-layered flex ribbon.
Damaged LCD/Digitizer
Magnifying lens(OPTIONAL, kung di nyo makita yung small wires)
Very bright place(para kitang kita ang lahat)
kahit anong pangkaskas(sand paper, diamond dust file, any kind of knifes basta matalas at matalim)
kapton tape or any tape that didn't melt during heating process. dont try rubber tapes and scotch tape.

SITUATIONS THAT CAN BE FIXED:

BURNED PADS/RESISTORS DUE TO WATER DAMAGE

Tutorial(both lcd and digitizer, for pads)
1. prepare to heat your soldering iron.
2. scratch the track below the burned part of the pad using knife only. make sure you see gold tracks before soldering. apply light to moderate scratching.
3.cover the pads by putting a strip of tape and make sure the only visible is the track that you want to solder. repeat step 2 if the tract is now soldered yet.
4.solder affected parts. apply paste as necessary. if you have copper foil tape, much better to repair damaged pads. just cut it into very thin strips, put it to the track and apply solder.
5.test for short circuits in the pads and the soldered track.
6.test device now.
repeat step 3 kung di success
if working, you now have a very CHEAP repaired display hardware.

Tutorial(both lcd and digitizer, for corroded resistors)
1. prepare to heat your soldering iron.
2. remove the corroded resistor.
3.jump the connection by soldering that part.
6.test device now.

TEAR DOWN

Introduction: heto ang laging problema sa china tab kapag napunit ang flat ribbon ng lcd. ingat lang lagi. wag masyadong tutupiin ang ribbon kasi lumulutong ang tracks.

Tutorial(both lcd and digitizer)
1. prepare to heat your soldering iron.
2. scratch the damaged tear down tracks with diamond dust file, knife or sandpaper. make sure you see gold tracks before soldering. apply light to moderate scratching. if the ribbon is double-layered, just scratch the ribbon at horizontal/upright position with sand paper or diamond dust to avoid short circuit.
3.secure the ribbon with kapton tape and. prepare solid copper for supporting double layer ribbon. apply paste as necessary. join the ribbon and solder the back with solid copper until it intact. if ribbon is flat, just secure the tear downed part and join the ribbon.
4.solder affected parts. apply wires or thin strips of copper foil tape if necessary.
5.test for short circuits in the soldered tracks.
6.test device now.
repeat step 4 kung di success
apply adhesive if necessary.

NOTE: Tried and tested. but wala akong SS ng repaired dahil nakalimutan ko. next repairs siguro. hahaha
THIS IS A D.I.Y. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK
