di ko pa na try yung pfsense kasi very much confusing yung mga sources about it. But what i have observed is that:
mikrotikr - hardware (router) na marami ang features like making captive portal or may bayad na wifi and etc. Sa blog ko, i posted pics and documents about it.
Correct me if im wrong. based on my observations lang po. di ko pa po na try yung pfsense.
Mikrotik is just a branding for their Routerboards with prebuilt RouterOS on it. OK?
To make that routerboard works, you need the so called RouterOS, which is actually a software installable also in x86 computer, same thing as pfsense.
When it comes to horsepower, power wise, with Atom board, that mikrotik router is 500x slower than a Intel Atom with RouterOS installed on it.
tl;dr same shit....
