UIQ3/P990 Internet Config


Go to MENU> TOOLS> CONTROL PANEL> CONNECTIONS> INTERNET ACCOUNTS> tapos lalabas ACCOUNTS at GROUPS> click yung pinakataas, yung INTERNET ACCOUNTS> OPTIONS> PREFFERED MODE: automatic
Lagyan ng check ang SHOW CONNECTION DIALOG then SAVE> NEW ACCOUNTS> DATA>
ACCOUNT NAME: (Ipangalan sa name ng trick para di malito)> ADDRESS:

For globe: http.globe.com.ph
For smart: internet
For sun: minternet (pero working ngayon eh mms na access point)
For red mobile: redinternet

then click DATA ACCOUNT> PROXY> lagyan ng check ang USE PROXY SERVER
PROXY ADDRESS: required proxy
PORT: required port
then SAVE.

Click ulit ang INTERNET ACCOUNTS> NEW ACCOUNT> GROUP ACCOUNT> tapos ilagay yung account name na ginamit kanina para di nakakalito> ADD NEW ACCOUNT tapos hanapin sa choices yung ginawang account name kanina.

1. Disable handwriting recognition for snappier interface .

2. Select 'Large cache' in Opera .

3. To enable flash light in video capturing mode, enable light in picture mode, hold shutter button halfway, turn jog-dial to video mode.

4. Enable USB file transfer in 'Connections' to allow fast file copy over USB cable.

5. Set Opera zoom to 80% for overview and clear text.

6. If software update fails, try deleting blob_fs folder and install latest Java client, update will erase everything on the phone memory.

7. Set camera picture quality to 'Fine'.

8. Mute camera shutter sound.

9. Limit backlight brightness to 25-80% .

10. Disable wlan and 3G network support when not needed in 'Mobile networks' and 'WLAN' menus respectively to Increase Battery Life.

11. Calibrate the touch screen using the 'Setup wizard'.

12. Turn off GPRS to disable continuous GPRS signal search, will still work and turn on when needed (i.e. MMS), found in 'Internet Accounts', 'More',
'Options' and 'CS Only' .

13. To enter service menu, flip closed: jog-dial up, *, down, down, *, down, * - flip open/removed: in phone application, jog-dial up, touch *, down, down, *, down, * .


14. To Increase menu motions do as follows:

Go to Task Manager and close all running programs.

Go to Media Player and open any short Video you have.

Leave it playing and press the Back Button.

Go to the Main Menu and see how fast it will open.

You can see it more If you click the Double Triangles Button ( on the lower left )and then try the connections submenu.​

Speed up your M600i / P990i Interactive Menu​

1. Go to Media Player
2. Play any available movie file
3. Stop the playback, Click the BACK button until you reach TODAY screen (don’t kill it)
4. Now, TAP on the MENU icon on your TODAY screen, feel the difference?

this explains that the Dev Team from SE UIQ3 is actually doing their job on optimizing the UI whenever there’s a ‘heavy-loaded’ application running in the memory, the UIQ3 platform will optimize the UI (get rid of the fade in/out expand effect) to balance up the overall UI experience.

would really like to see this ‘Turn off animated menu effect’ in the next firmware release, I bet this feature would really shine your UIQ3’s phone. ​

halos lhat ng modd ginawa ko na sa akng p9.. kaso napansin kong lumiit ang free ram ko.. from 17mb nagng 10mb nlang.. so finormat ko nlang ang internal disk..kaso hanggang 13mb lang ang narecover ko sa ram...

if ever na magloko p990i nyo try nyo ireset kng ayaw aman try nyo software update, nghhang kc mdalas ang p990i ko ngeon hndi na, mgging updated and software ng cp mo bblis pa bsta may cable ka, kng gs2 mo iback mga contacts at message mo gamit ka ng my phone explorer easy to use yan at user friendly..

Astray wala akong mashare eeh, T_T ahekz di ko alam mag mod at ang mga application ko lang dito mga om hehe, ang liit kasi ng ram ko eeh 8mb lang kaya di ako maka multitask sa phone, sensya na ha, ahehe
