SKY Sky broadband to Router

Hi masters!

Patulong po. Ung skybroadband ko may wifi kaso walang bandwidth limit kaya ako bumili ng router.
Question:

1. Paano po kaya icoconnect ung router sa sky broadband? may 2ng wan po sya na saksakan.
2. Pag nakakonek naba ko sa router mawawala na ung wifi sa sky broadband? sa router nalang?

For TECHNICOLOR modem TC7200.d2P with default LAN IP of 192.168.0.1

Once you login to the GUI of the modem makkita nyo agad ung sa status page there are new different optons like SWITCH MODE, the default is "LEGACY RG IPV4 Mode", ADVANCE page is also enabled for port forwarding and different settings.

If you want to enable BRIDGE mode para makagamit kayo ng third-party router, you just switch to "DISABLE MODE" then apply and let it reboot to refresh the new settings.

Once rebooted you cannot access the original LAN IP of the modem which is the 192.168.0.1, instead you can access it thru this IP 192.168.100.1.

Now checking if it works.

Kabit niyo yung router ninyo sa kahit saang LAN port sa sky cable modem.

MAC Clone din kayo sa third-party router niyo para magkaroon ng internet.

Ung setup ko sa bahay eh ganito.

SKY ROUTER (connect to lan 1 or lan 2) tapon Wifi router (connect to wan port, ito ung kakaiba ang kulay).

Hindi automatic na mawawala yung wifi ng skymodem. kelangan mo idisable sa router settings nung sa sky broadband.

any idea also sir if pwede po ba makita ang status kng sino naka connect sa modem? and pwede po ba ito sila e block? tsaka san po pwede makita kng ilan na ang data na consume ko.. salamat po sa sagot.. bundle po kinuha ko 1599, yung 8mbps

Master baka naman po pwede magpaturo saang part ng Sky Router Dashboard mag change ng DNS?

gusto ko kasi sana gumamit ng OpenDNS kaso di ko makita kuns san banda i change yung NDS sa router na to.
