Poem still reaching for something

it's very early to let go...
it can still work..
it will ease up..
it can still mend...

all of it is words,
but why those meant sadness.
like everything will be okay,
but you know how it ends.

nothing of those will occur,
if you know when to back down.
if only you have the strength
to accept that needs to end.
