Undervolting Ryzen 5 5600

Mga boss, nagtatry ako magundervolt via PBO sa BIOS na ang objective ay mapababa yung temp tsaka power consumption without much performance loss.
Ang setup ko sa Curve Optimizer (all cores) is -25. Ang problema is regardless kung anong negative value ang ilagay ko sa curve optimizer, hindi bumaba yung Package Power sa 76-78W. Kahit yung default nasa around 77W lang din. The good thing is, bumaba naman yung CPU temp.
Ano ba yung need ko pa gawin para mapababa yung power consumption.

Specs: Ryzen 5 5600(non-X)
Mobo: MSI B550m Pro-VDH Wifi ProSeries

most of the time sa CPU kasi undervolting lang ang pwede mo gawin para bumaba ang Power consumption the lower the volt the lower the clock rate the cooler the cpu chip..

For now, mainly pang gaming lang sya.
Para naman sa voltage, yung default is around 1.2V tapos naging 1.1V pagkapply ng PBO but still nasa 4450Mhz yung max CPU clock (same lang sa default).
Gusto ko lang maging efficient yung CPU ko, para yung "extrang" kuryente na kinokonsumo ng CPU is hindi kinoconvert lang sa heat.

may nabasa akong article or vid sa yt ata yon, same problem. Dito ako sa mismong CPU parameter nag u-undervolt/overclock instead sa PBO. Then trial and error sa cinebench if stable.

try not to USE the PBO limits then punta ka sa CPU Config. mismo tapos dun ka mag undervolt to 1.1v then check mo mag wowork pa...
ano gamit mo pang benchmark or stresstest sa CPU mo?

pero dahan dahanin mo lang yung pag titimpla para makuha mo yung sweet spot nya
i guess wala na masyado gumagawa ng underclock/undervolt ngayon since most of the pc enthusiast goes OVERCLOCK
well buti nalang na open mo yung topic na to.. napaglaruan ko tuloy yung isang PC ulit

try not to USE the PBO limits then punta ka sa CPU Config. mismo tapos dun ka mag undervolt to 1.1v then check mo mag wowork pa...
ano gamit mo pang benchmark or stresstest sa CPU mo?

pero dahan dahanin mo lang yung pag titimpla para makuha mo yung sweet spot nya

Ibang approach na lang ginawa ko boss. Yung Ryzen Master yung ginamit ko para mag-undervolt.
Okay naman naging result.

Actually, naeenjoy ko nga rin mag underclock lalo na may nakukuha kang good results haha.

Nagrerevert pala sa default values after reboot kapag Ryzen Master ang gamit. So nauwi din ako sa pagtweak sa BIOS tulad ng advice ni boss namaewagio.

same advise lang sa taas, sa CPU parameter kayo mismo mag overclock while alalay sa pag undervolt tapos cinebench if stable. trial and error lang until mahanap ang sweetspot. good luck.

try mo aralin boss yung PBO + curve optimizer (kapag may time ka hehe) para sa "advanced" na overclocking + undervolting.. medyo masakit sa ulo tsaka matrabaho nga lang since maraming trials-and-error ang gagawin mo para makuha yung sweet spot hehe

eto yung PBO limits na nai-set ko:
PPT = 120W
TDC = 70A
EDC = 110A

Curve Optimizer (values per core):
Core 0 (best core based on Ryzen Master) = -27 steps
Core 1 (2nd to the best core based on Ryzen Master)= -27 steps
Core 2 = -30 steps
Core 3 = -30 steps
Core 4 = -30 steps
Core 5 = -30 steps

stable naman sya nung ni-run ko sa Cinebench R23 for at least 30mins.
Max frequency na nakuha ko is nasa 4.45GHz (although ang sinet ko na sa auto-OC is +100MHz).
Max temp ko is nasa 72°C.

Kung may maisa-suggest pa kayo na pwede kong gawin para maimprove pa to, that would be much appreciated.
