Ever heard of the usual line “see your dentist twice a year”?, Do you practice it? Well I think the best time to do it is now, after reading this post. A part of the population always seems to fear the idea going to the dentist since most of the time,their experience always end up with a tooth being pulled out or undergoing the drill for some deep filling. The point is why wait for that painful moment to proceed where in you can prevent it by having an oral prophylaxis. By having your teeth professionally cleaned, stains and plaque deposits surrounding your teeth are meticulously removed. we can then see what tooth needs to be fixed by putting a filling material to prevent the tooth decay from getting deeper therefore avoiding the problem of toothache in the future.

Topical flouride is also applied to help strenghten your teeth’s defense against acid attack from bacteria.Another thing is professional advice regading your dental home care regimen will be given to ensure that you can protect yourself even at home. Another argument is dental treatments are that expensive, it is half true if your case needs complex dental treatments. Just put it this way if you are under regular dental care having preventive dental treatment such as cleaning and flouride then you can avoid having numerous fillings or having your tooth pulled out which will eventually will need to be replaced by either a denture or a bridge which will cost you money for sure.

Hi.. in reply to your question pwedeng masakit pede din hindi., masakit siya kung napakalalim na ng cavity na gagawin or ififill ( pasta or filling), masakit siya kung during the drilling part ay kulang ang water supply na tumatama sa drill or dun sa surface ng ngipin na dinidrill, masakit siya if sobrang lalim na na kung saan malapit na siya directly dun sa nerve ng ngipin. madami naman paraan to avoid pain like anethesia and proper assessment nung cavity bago i drill. with company dentist make sure na hindi amalgam or silver filling ang nilalagay, due to recent DOH memorandum iniiwasan na ang paggamit ng mercury based filling such as amalgam, have a tooth colored filling instead. hope nasagot ko tanung nila.

hi.. laminates are basically done to improve the esthetics, if personally hindi ka happy what it turned out ay you have the right to have it fixed. on my point laminates are expensive due to the fact that it is much harder to fabricate in the lab and yung cement na ginagamit ay napakamahal, if tama ako sa sessions nyo ng dentist mo ay merun kayu trial session na kung saan ipapakita muna sa iyo ang hitsure pag kinabit na, then pag ok na saiyo proceed na sa final cement or pagdidikit. if magkaiba kulay nya nung trial and cementation most probably nakaapekto dun ay yung kulay ng cement na ginamit, pag laminates dapat ay clear or translucent ang gamit na cement.

Laminates are made of thin porcelain material na naka cement sa front surface ng teeth to improve the appearance, pede din plastic or resin ang material na gamitin but mas superior pa din ang porcelain. ever watch yung mga extreme make over na mga show kalimitan laminates ang ginagamit duon para iimprove ang itsura.

with the inquiries regarding sa price ng dental treatment it has something to do with the locality area ng clinic, the specialization of the dentist working on you, type of material and equipment he or she is using. merun din set of price na sineset ang bawat dental club sa isang region or province.

Ang filling or pasta right now ay priced ng 400 per surface ng ngipin,
oral prophylaxis naman ay based sa dami ng tartar or deposits

prices vary from clinic to clinic since madami nga factors involved.

Industrial practices or HMO (health cards) do charge lower but here is the catch, if they charge lower somehow the quality of work may be of lesser quality since napakaliit ng fees na nacocollect. since napaka mahal na ng mga gamit at overhead expenses ngayun some how some dentist will find a way to cut cost (like using cheaper materials).

dun sa mga nagtatanung bout sa prices i must say na hindi lahat ng dentist ay pareho ng charges, yung fees kasi depends on a lot of factors. @ forbiddenrai yung ortho treatment or braces ay usually nasa 40-70 thousand depending on the case na iwoworkout..you can ask your family dentist if nasa ganun price range ang ortho treatment na inoofer sa kanila for comparison, as ai've said madami factors kinoconsider sa mga prices.

thank you mkaka ipon na ako mag kano, about sa teeth ko una advice niya jacket pero sabi nya gagawan nya paraan titignan nya kung kaya pa ng pasta,, and then nag ok naman yung pasta pero nung pa check na ulit ako sabi nya lumaki na yung sira sa loob nagulat ako akala ko nun ok tapos yun gagatos pa pla ako,, correct me if im wrong ang prob sa teeth ko yung "Cuspid (canine)"..

sir before you decide if i papatuloy mo na i jacket or not is anu ba symptomas na naramdaman mo sa ngipin? sumakit na ba? kinunan ba ng xray yung ngipin para masabi na ah di na pede yung tooth dahil malalim na sira? kung kinokonsider po ninyo na mag pa jacket then sabi nung dentist nyo na malaki na sira sa luob ay dapat i root canal therapy muna yung ngipin bago mag proceed, Root canal therapy or RCT ay basically we remove the nerves nung canal ng ngipin and cleaning the canals then filling it, the end result is wala na pakiramdam yung ngipin, think of it this way, malalim na sira ng ngipin then i jajacket kaagad, when dumating yung time na sumakit yung ngipin mo tatanggalin na naman si jacket na pagka mahal tsaka i RCT then bago na naman jacket ang ikakabit so gastos na naman. isa pang scenario is nagpajacket ka agad then gusto mo magpableach, bleach ka then all of a sudden yung kulay ng jacket mo napagiwanan ng mga bleached natural teeth mo so papagawa ka na naman ng bago. in short gastos uli. what i'm saying is ok mag invest sa ngipin mo but do it on a style na kung saan ay magiging redundant yung gastos mo. hope nakatulong.. and yes canine+cuspid=pangil.
