Will link2sd increase your internal storage?

this is for me so far the best advantage of data2ext. kinalimutan ko na both app2sd and link2sd when i learned na kayang gumana ng data2ext sa phone natin. some apps like Contact Storage uses the internal memory (a lot kung marami kang contacts), and only data2ext can extend its capacity.

bakit sa scriptmanager?

Kung gusto mo itry yung mga scripts ko scriptz folder, ganito gawin mo gawa ka ng scriptz folder sa sdcard mo, tapos extract mo dun yung mga scripts ko tapos yung script na 90tweakz sa inti.d folder ng V.5.2 lagay mo sa init.d mo.

So you mean to say that data2ext is NOW WORKING STABLE on 918n? do you have an update.zip of it so we can flash it to our rom?

you can create an init.d folder inside the system/etc. When putting a script file on init.d, the file should be 90tweaks (not 90tweaks.sh). But my advice is use the SD Tweak rather than putting a script on init.d , para mas safe at madaling mag-apply ng ibang scripts.

What do you mean SD Tweak? The script files that are inside the sdcard folder of Si banjo's V5.2?

if your boot.img does not support init.d this cannot be,

that is why we create the scriptz folder and put install-recovery.sh sa ect folder.

FYI, do not put .sh extension when you use init.d

Sir bluerain, yung link ba na post tungkol sa Data 2SD na apply mo sa device mo? Gumana naman ng Maayos? Kasi nakalagay pang Lenovo A60. Naninigurado lang bago sumubok.

Ok here's a fast tutorial on how to make data2ext work on our phone the Alcatel 918N

Requirements:
- ES File Explorer (or any root explorer but I prefer ES File Explorer)
- Rooted Phone
- Mount system as writable/readable (on your explorer)
- SD Card partitioned in 2. 1st Parition must be fat32, 2nd partition must be ext2.

First of all. Format your 2nd partition to ext2. If already ext2, format it again.
Note: Kung meron na kayo ng files na nabanggit dyan sa mga specified folders. Then proceed to step 4.

1. Download attachment. And extract files. Make new folder named scriptz on the root of your sdcard.
2. Copy busybox_d2sd to /system/xbin
3. Copy e2fck to system/bin
4. Copy 01data2sd.sh to /sdcard/scriptz
4. Copy install-recovery.sh to /system/etc (If prompted to overwrite, then yes)
5. Set intall-recovery.sh permission to rxw -rx -rx
6. Reboot phone
7. Wait until booted to OS
8. Confirm your internal storage. If hasn't changed, wait for a couple of minutes. Then check again.

Just connect your phone then run reverse tethering and press scan to check if your device is really connected. Then Press connect. Then follow instruction na lalabas dun.
