The Civil Service Commission of the Philippines (CSC) is a government agency which deals with civil service matters and conflict resolution. It is tasked with the responsibility of over seeing the integrity of government actions and processes. The commission was originally founded in 1900 through Act No. 5 of the Philippine Commission and was solidified as a bureau in 1905. Along with the Commission on Elections and Commission on Audit the CSC is part of the Constitutional Commissions of the Philippine Government. There are currently 15 regional offices located throughout the country. Ricardo Saludo is the chairperson of the Civil Service Commission.

nag take ako last april 2010, advice ko mag review ka mabuti sa english, in terms of right construction of sentence, tapus sa math, mga problem solving na tricky, buy k ng mga booklet na reviewer sa civil service, ung math section halos ganun, iba lang ang value or ibang bagay lng na ginamit.. gudluck

repapits mahirap ba? Yung exam. Prof. Ba tinake mo? Oo nga may reviewer ako repapits msa galing xerox ko lang ang mga inexam mo ba? Is for english→ is alphabetizing, synonyms,antonyms,word analogy, identifying eerors, paragraph development,correct usage, and reading comprehension, ito ba cover ng exam sa english? Ahm sabi nga sa akin repapits sa national bookstore daw ako bumili sa tingin mo magkano ang reviewer na yun? for your reply

nag exam ako nun sa civil service, prof. Wala manlang review review 3 years ago pa, fourth year college ako nun parang napagkatuwaan lang namen kumuhang magkakalase,ayun bagsak kame lahat. Lol. Dapat talaga before ka mag exam kaylangan talaga mag review,meron namang mga review center diyan try mung mag enrol. O kaya buy ka ng mga reviewer. Ang hirap kaya ng exam. Haha.

mahirap nga daw talaga yung professional kaya nga po nagpapaturo ako sa mga kilala ko makapasa lang dude ng sub-professional masaya na ko dun syempre dapat makapasa man o hindi hindi ko kakalimutan magpasalamat sa poong maykapal sana makapasa ko pag kuwa ko ng october 2010 na exam. Any tips po para mapaghandaan ang nalalapit na exam sa civil service any one concern? sa mga nag sipag sagot

hmm.. ako kakatake ko lng last month(prof)... english ung mahirap kc andami mo babsahin( pero hndi na man ganun ka complicated.. basahin mo lng talaga taz intindihin makukuha na man) sa math na man.. mas madali kaysa sa english.. basta tiwala ka sa sarili mo kahit hndi ka mag review(logic and basic computation lng).... sabi ng mga kklase ko na nagtake din.. mas enjoy sagutan ung math... agree na man din ako.. hehe.. ung COnstitution naman.. basahin mo lng.. taz kung ano ung sa tingin mo na tama.. un n un.. hehe.. pero mas maganda din kung nag review ka... kung mag rereview ka WALA KA NAMAN na isasaulo.. iintindihin mo lng.. KAMi na mga kaklase ko Hindi din n man kmi nag review... pero sana makapasa .. hehe.. gudluck

wow_ulam payo ko sayo. Patibayin mo mga basic foundation ng english math mo kasi un lang concept sa english mga synonymous words ang medyo mahirap. Sa math usually word problem basic trigo at algebra lang wag mung kabisaduhin mga formula kasi every formula eh nanggaling lang lahat sa basic. Tapos abstract type of exam hehe kaya m na un. Bsta magaling kang mag imagine hehe goodluck. Itayo mo bandera ng BULSA este BULSU ntin hehe.

repapits tubong bulakeñyo ka pala? At sa Bulsa din nag aaral ay este Bulsu pala repapits salamat sa iyong payo pagbubutihan ko para maregular na ako sa trabaho ko repapits salamat

ENG'G hehe. ang turo ng school natin basic is the best foundation kaya manonotice mo pag nag take ka puro basic lang mukang mahirap pero tricky lang..basta bro good luck at pag butihin mo sa Govt ka ba nagtatrabaho? ako dito na ako sa Subic 2 years Reg and stable na sa job ko hehe.. Galingan mo kasi ang CSE eh katumbas na ng license na pra kang nagboard after mo ng sub pro review ulet fot pro..para the best...hehehe

lapit na nga pala CS exam, gusto ko din nga mag take, dapat last yr pa, hindi ko lang maisingit dahil sa dami ng trabaho. hopefully makakuha ako ngayon. anyways, goodluck sayo wow_ulam!

repapits salamat sa papuri ang lupet ng course mo repapits Engineering ka pala Ako repapits CIT Electrical Technology 4yr's anu batch ka repapits graduate sa BulSU about sa Government work ko tagal ko na dun repapits mula pa nun pag ka gradaute ko ng highschool all around work ako mapa janitor,messenger,typing job, basta pwede sa lahat utusan na nakararaming amo sa Dept. Of Labor & Employment DOLE yung english,and math ang kailangan ko improve medyo mahina ako sa dalawa na yan may pag ka logic ito diba? Repapits at lalo na sa english mahirap yung paragraph development yun at yung reading comprehension at ang math pa mahirap din yung trigo wala kami nun nag aaral ako hanggang statistics lamang palagay mo repapits ito dalawa ang pag focus ko? Buti kapa repapits maganda lugar ng work mo subic pa astig dude

i already passed professional level. i'm here to share you guys relevant information...
btw, expect to be divided with people with ur age and bday in different schools and rooms... segregated kau by bday.

PRACTICAL ADVICES:

**useful ang reviewers (BUY ONE OK) pero keep in mind, hindi ito ang actual exams.. IT'S JUST A GUIDE OF WHAT TYPE OF EXAMS YOU'LL EXPECT.
**You'll say, "Sabi nila... parang College Entrance Exam" true! BUT NEVER UNDERESTIMATE IT. TAKE A CHOICE NOT CHANCES... REVIEW! REVIEW!
**get the recent names people and positions in the government. lumalabas un at least 10 related items.
**do testmanship skills of "eliminations" to help you analyze the answers.
**i-huli mo ung questions that requires longer readings. uubusin lang yan oras mo. short or long 1-point lang yan.
**unahin mo ang madadali sau.
**have a spare sharpened pencil.
**english and filipino vocabulary - madami ito better study, good way to earn points.
**about law, ethics, rights - less than 5 lang lumalabas.
**have a wristwatch, makes you aware of the time and manage you're answers.
**it's ok to make drafts sa questionaires about math prob solving.
**kung di mo alam ang sagot sa choices always pick ur first choice.
**ang trick kc kapag multiple choice is that meron palaging 2 choice/answer na almost right pareho, so be careful.
**if ur from indigenous people, always indicate it. u earn bonus points, somewhat handicap mode... if ur not, dont put any. (liars penalize hehehe)
**indicate how many times you took it, also u earn bonus points (maybe 1pt per take), somewhat handicap mode...
**never leave unanswered questions.
**relax on the day before the exam.
**dont be late.
**do not bring big bags or not important things - sagabal lang un.
**bring permits (admission notice), pics, valid ID, pencil, pens
**at least two weeks before, start reviewing... i did that and it work.

note 1: i made this before but i found it to be helpful here. this is positive stuff.
note 2: nobody told me about bonus points or handicaps... no guarantees (i have personal basis and analyzations) pero believe me u get a little exceptions as note by laws. (this is not publicize because it draws negative reactions.. pero think of it if ur from indigenous area u get a little special treatment in some agencies; sayang naman pera ng repeaters kung walang little bonus)

facts: all levels passing rate is 80%
facts: around 15% nakakapasa sa exam (1,500/10,000 examinees)

just dont be intimidated... or burn yourself
if u feel unsure... take longer time to review.

yun nga po sir dati kumuwa na talaga ako ng exam sub.prof din po kaso sa kasamaang palad hindi ako napasa magtake po uli ako ng sub.prof. Now na graduate na ako ng 4yr course so bali ang target ko lang talaga sub.prof. Dati po kasi wala ako review so ngayon po maagap na ako nagrereview na po ako medyo mahina po ako sir sa english lalo na sa paragraph development sana sir madami ako matutunan salamat sa advise at sa tips
