Hi to all Nokia 808 users!

First of all, although outdated na ang almost lahat ng features ng phone na ito kahit na nung ni-release ito sa market ay gustong-gusto ko pa rin ito most probably not because of the apps, fluidity of the UI or camera but because of its OS.

Im a fan of symbian eversince, but then Nokia will discontinue it a few years from now. Not minding that issue, i would like to know kung meron sa inyo ang ngkakaroon ng mga issues with regards sa calls, text messages, wi-fi and mobile connectivity.

I have read from gsmarena.com na there are some owners who experienced a bad network problems like hindi dw sila ma contact or matawagan dahil nka off or out of network kahit na nka on ang Nokia 808 nila. I would like to verify that from your experiences guys.

Regarding about some issues with the OS like having a laggy and not-so-fluid transition from one interface to another, outdated internet browser etc., I think i can live with it since owning an N70 and 6630 until today will train you to be very patient and forgiving user. That said im not saying that those phones are bad, its just the crowd's perception that these are now no-good to use phones since almost everyone will dislike it because the technology is jurassic era by today's standards.

Sa loob ng 1 taon ko na nagamit ang 808 ko. Ang mga naranasan ko na problema ay yung wifi na hindi sya maka connect kahit registered na siya sa list. pero na fix na yun within a couple of months. Minsan nag hahang siya pero pa minsan lang naman. at saka pag mag switch ako from photo to video, laging nag eerror
at kailangan irestart ko ang phone ko para ma fix ang prob. Pag may isave ako ng contacts, minsan di siya nag sync o di kaya nag duplicate siya sa gmail contacts ko, pero this is my fault kasi nag conflict ang nokia account ko sa gmail.

after 11 months of using my device, I flashed it to custom ROM, Mohican 1.2 ang ROM, medyo buggy siya lalo na sa pagkuha ng pictures kay nag switch ako to Belle Delight which is napaka ok naman so far.

Totoo naman na behind na talaga ang Symbian dahil pinatay na ito ng CEO ng Nokia pero what matters most is the capabilty of this camera na di mapantayan kahit ang sibling nito na Nokia Lumia 1020.

Sir salamat sa reply, pero it's worth mentioning what you said na you switched to a newer version ng OS, that said, would that be the factor kng bakit some of the bugs are now appearing? Some users mentioned na sa FP1 version ok naman dw, while others are complaining about it. And what about Mohican? Would that be a necessity to use it just to switch to Belle Delight or can you omit that while just switching directly to Delight? Im not really a heavy Internet user and usually what matters to me are just 3 things: downloads, streaming and browsing using this phone in the future. I dont even sync my contacts or other more complicated things in the Internet. Its just a plain call, text, cam and inet thing. Can you or the others shed some light? Sold out talaga ako sa cp na 'to eh. Salamat in advance and more power.

Hello po! Me alam po ba kayong way para mkpagbluetooth ako from samsung s3 to nokia lumia 920? Nkkpagconnect but after a few seconds, not connected na po... Nghhinayang na tuloy ako na i bought the nokia lumia 920...

widnows po kasi yung 920. diko alam kung supported na ng wp ang pagbluetooth sa ibang phone. and as far as I know po e gagamit ka pa yata ng zune para makapagtransfer ng files po.

Guys,
nagkakaroon lang ng hardware/software conflict ang 808 PureView kapag nag install ka ng Firmware na hindi tugma sa product code nito. marami akong na encounter na problema since nangyari yun sa akin. buti nalang at bago ko ininstall yung customr rom na yun eh nai take note ko yung product code ng phone ko, so naghanap ulit ako ng latest firware with the same product code at nafixed lahat ng problema ko.. so far wala akong problema sa phone ko tulad ng mga sinasabi nyong problem sa WiFi, hindi matawagan, etc. etc..

available pa ba ang phone na 'to ngayon at a lower price? because may nakita ako d2 sa market2x taguig which costs 26k pa which is very expensive for a cp na almost 2yrs na on sale.. and its iphone 4s 16gb na price range..

bro zian,,, alin po mas ok.. belle delight o theone cfw? thanks! gamit ko ngaun c theone.. first time ko gmamit ng cfw... sobrang ok sya compared sa ofw.. at ung theone cfw ay 1508 based sya,,, napansin ko na ang bilis ng multitasking nya.. alt tab haha.. sa battery di ko pa napapansin.. sa paginstall ng apps ok n ok sya ang bilis.. sa camera wala din ako napansin hehe

sorry po sa late reply sir xchan. honestly kasi sir, mas gusto ko parin ang official firmware kaysa sa mga nagkalat na cfw. natry ko na din kasi noon mag install ng cfw. at ayon nga sa sinabi mo, may mga kagandahan ang mga cfw na di mo makikita sa ofw. pero maraming mga ibang features na importante ang di gagana kapag cfw ang gamit mo at pati na din yung mga official software updates from Nokia themselves, di mo yun maeenjoy kapag naka cfw ka.

pero na sa sa iyo parin yun sir kung gusto mo talaga ang cfw. pero wala akong maipapayo sa kung anong cfw ang maganda sa ngayon or from your choices na belle delight o the one kasi di ko pa sila natry sir.
