BROWNOUTS OR ANY POWER INTERRUPTIONS MAY CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE!

Make sure no simcard is inserted in the dongle.
Plug it into the back of PC! As usb hubs and front ports can sometimes cause issues.

If not already done so allow modem to install drivers.
Let XP say “Device is installed & ready for use” Go to Start\Control Panel\System\Device Manager\ Make sure dongle is installed with drivers.

Unzip file called “ZTE.zip”
Run Flash Updater, when it has found device the download button will become active. Click Download and leave it to flash, Mine took 18 minutes.

Do not unplug or use PC or you may break your dongle!
When it has finished it will tell you!

smartbro current version:BD_3GHAP673A4V1.0.1B02
to be replaced with new version:BD_P673M3V1.0.1B02

PRESS DOWNLOAD BUTTON:

backup NV ID

restoring nv items id

flash completed

Unplug it & put in SIM of your choice.

GLOBE VISIBILITY NA ANG INTERFACE MO!

To use your openline modem, make a new profile:

SMARTBRO SIM:
APN: SMARTBRO

SMART PREPAID SIM:
APN: internet

GLOBE:
send TIME to 1111
APN: http.globe.com.ph

SUN:
send ACTIVATE to 2300
APN: minternet

ACCESS DIAL: *99#
PROTOCOL: PAP
DNS: (OPTIONAL) 208.67.222.222/208.67.220.220

If you don't like to use the Globe software for going to the internet
with Smart or any other provider after overwriting the flash memory,
why don't you use the Telstra software from ZTE Australia:

working on windows 7 32bit using samsung NC10 notebook..ka2tapos ko lang today took me 26mins and 46 seconds...

download this ZTE windows 7 driver, kasi yung iba hindi mainstall...katulad ko hindi mainstall sa windows 7 laging failed need pa nito ng driver for win7..

thanks sa lahat ng nag view....ako na lang din ang naka discover kung paano ibalik ang auto run ng Zte MF-622...
ito yung solution, kung meron kang QPST na program... yun yung ginagamit para ibalik sa dati yung original na dashboard ng ZTE MF-627...
just follow the instruction dun imbis na SMARTBRO.ISO ang ilalagay mo dun ito yung ilalagay mo CD_STARTUP_FLAG...
and then restart tapos yun na ok na uli ang autorun mo...

I am using huawei 156c, i will buy the smartbro zte mf627 next month. Ive already unlocked my friend's zte 627 using this procedure using windows vista. Others say sa XP lang siya, but i was successful with vista.

i'm using mf622+ from smartbro and tried using the flash sw. i get an error "switch to download mode fail"

i also get an error message pls restart your modem manually

what does that mean?
