PLDT 20 Mbps Download Speed PLDT 1299

pa tingin nga ng gui ng modem niyo kung 20mbps nakalagay. kung hindi then pumapalao sa 20mbps ung DL speed mukang my kakaiba nga talaga diyan :noidea:

ito yung screenshot nung GUI ng Modem. yung Modem ng Globe gamit ko kasi nasira yung prinovide ng PLDT eh. ayoko na magbayad so ayun pero PLDT DSL 1299 yung plan ko. as you can see 23129 kbps or 23.129 Mbps yung download nya pero sa ACER website lang sya na mamax. pero sa normal speed test pati Download ng files sa ibang site pati sa torrent. 2971 kbps or nasa 3 Mbps lang nagagamit.

Yung speed profile na naka setup sa DSL Line niyo (yung nakikita sa Modem GUI) and naka setup mismo sa DSL account niyo (yung nasa system nila) is usually magkaiba. Mas mataas ang nakasetup sa line for overhead, pero minsan sobrang taas.

Line Speed Profile example: 24500kbps (*0.87 for the overhead) so max speed ng line niyo is 21315. That explains kung bakit madalas 3605~ ung speed profile ng 3mbps (3.1~mbps), and 6031~ ang speed profile ng 5mbps (5.2mbps~). Hindi porket 24500 (example lang) ang nakalagay eh 24.5mbps sya, always deduct the overhead.

That doesn't mean na if ano lumabas sa modem niyo, is ayun na ang speed. May speed limiter padin sila na iniimpose sa side nila (DSL account limit), and that is the correct speed you should be getting. 3mbps for 3mbps, and so on.

Pero bakit mas mataas ang download ng ibang torrent and ibang sites like Acer?

For the torrent, may seeder na PLDT user din. Hindi na sya dumadaan sa limiter system sa side ng PLDT (since tinitreat ni PLDT na local connection lang ito), so kung ano max na kaya ng line niyo, ayun nakukuha niyong speed. May mga sites din na bypassed for speed limit and monthly data cap (like iFlix, PLDT sites, sites na partner ng PLDT, and CDN na PLDT based), that's why mataas download speed niyo sa ibang sites like Acer website, iFlix, PLDT page, etc.

May mga times (rarely) na nagloloko ang limiter sa side nila (when Maintenance, or down lang talaga system nila) so that's why minsan, sa lahat ng sites eh mataas download speed at hindi sya nasasama sa monthly cap.

ayown.. may nakasagot na.. Thank you sa info. :) :clap: by the way. may alam ka pa bang ibang sites na kagaya ng nangyayari bukod sa acer? i tried iflix pero nasa 3 mbps lang yung ginagamit. thank you again sa pagsagot.

Maybe gumagamit ka ng custom DNS (GoogleDNS, OpenDNS. Not the one provided by PLDT) kaya hindi ka sa PLDT CDN ng iFlix nag coconnect. Not sure kung saan pa ung sites na bypassed ung speed limits and data caps.

hindi yan. kahit manuod ka sa IFLIX mabilis din speed nila. halos 100mbps ung download kapag nag dinownload ko sa android app ung video sa iflix.
 
Also alam ko kung paano makuha Ang mataas Na speed. Tagal Na Nyan e.

meron po ba fibr plan na 999? kasi check ko po sa plst website ang pinaka murang pldt fibr plan is P1899 speed up to 50mbps

FAM PLAN po siya. Ang 1899 50 Mbps ay may 80GB Cap siya.
