Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator?

mga kuya at ate, ano po kaya ang magandang gamitin para sa pag design ng mga invitation like wedding and birthday? patulong naman po pls. Thanks po in advance

If more on photo manipulation and editing (using brushes and such), go for PS. Pero if you want to design your own card using merely your imagination, then go for AI. Mas mararamdaman mo ang "personalized" feeling if you would go for AI for you will be designing something out of scratch. xD

Pero you can use both applications naman on designing. For example, you want to design a logo or something, then you can go to AI and design the logo using shapes and such. Then after that, go to PS for the effects and manipulations you want to achieve hanggang ma-satisfy ka na.

salamat po kuya sa reply, mai ikakasal po kasi akong kaibigan, nakikiusap na baka pwede ko silang tulungan. sa ngayon po kasi sa powerpoint lang ako gumagawa ng invitation. sge po kuya try ko exlore yung dalawang program. salamat po ulit

if you can draw and enjoy original design without using pixels go with Illustrator but I would suggest that try to learn both since industry demands the two.

Adobe Photoshop - rasterized images editor (rasterized means raw pictures like photos)
ex. photo manipulation (distortion or enhancing) , lighting, contrast, print ads with realistic photos, digital painting
ito ang basic in graphic design. mas magagawa mo ng maayos wedding invitation mo dito. pede rin mag vector but not as good as illustrator.

Adobe Illustrator - vector image editor (graphical images composed of paths - points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygons)
ex. images with single swatch (flat color) renderings like silhouettes, logos, tshirt print designs, print ads with vector images
mahirap to sa walang experience in graphics. kailangan may background ka muna sa photoshop


parang sa pagkain lang yan e

fork - illustrator
makaka-kain ka kahit kutsara lang pero mahirap kung puro tinidor.

ang practical use kasi ng Illustrator for me is prototyping, 3d printing mga ganong bagay.
