I've previously posted this before. But at the time, I am totally clueless kung temporary network issue lang siya o kung dahil sa pag-update ko sa MIUI 13 from MIUI 12.

Earlier today, since kailangan ko makareceive ng SMS para sa OTP at since di na naman makareceive ng SMS, naisipan kong i-insert yung main TNT SIM card ko sa ibang device (Nokia 3310) para macheck kung makakareceive ako ng text. Upon doing so, napansin kong nakakareceive naman pla nang maayos yung SIM card ko. As such, parang itong MIUI 13 yung nagko-cause ng issue.

Has anybody else experienced the same???
 
I don't have this device but based from my experience using Android devices mas okay talaga (pagkatapos mag software upgrade) ay e-factory reset. Kasi parang may kini-clear sya na cache or something basta sa system (sorry not so expert about this). I know hassle and not necessary naman talaga gawin. Pero worth a try naman baka ma-fix yung mga issues after sa updates. Just make sure nakabackup na lahat importante sayo. :)

Mahirap na magfactory reset since marami ng laman yung phone storage. But thanks for raising that up. Baka yan nga plausible solution sa issue.
 
napansin ko rin ito sa iba pang unit ko na xiaomi, hindi nakakareceive ng sms, kapag ganito nirerestart ko phone, yung isa naman Poco X3 nfc hindi nakakapag send ng sms kung hindi sila muna ang magsend ng message. kumbaga reply reply lang ginagawa ko.

I was really under the suspicion na nasa MIUI 13 yung issue or, at least, nasa complications ng pag-update sa MIUI 13 at baka kailanganin ng factory reset, as suggested.
 
Sakin badi okay naman. I always update my Poco X3 pero I never encounter issue with SMS. Baka sa TNT ang may problema or signal? Minsan yung OTP server din may delay. Try mo iturn on yung airplane mode then on mo ulit after a minute.
 
check mu yung Messages app ng Google, e disable mu yung "Chat Features", yung kasing RCS is hindi pa gaanong ka stable

Textra ang main SMS app ko at the time.

Also, na-address ko yung issue by doing a system factory reset, as suggested.
