Im grade 12- Senior High School student under STEM strand.

tama ... ECE para mas mahirap.. haha

.pero tingin ko, coe, kasi computer age na tayo ngayon eh ..haha ..sakin lang .. by the way, im a graduate of Computer Engineering .

goodluck

sunog kilay pa more. haha

mhirap cla parehas.. tngin q dn k mas mganda ung my board exam pra my licence k w/c is ECE. Peo ok dn nman ung COE dhl flexible sya, pwd s IT world (programming, etc. :) ) at pwd dn s eng'g. XD

Depende sa field of interests mo dapat, and depende sa tingin mong future career experience, possibilities and opportunities na makukuha mo. Since one cannot exist without the other or let us say walang COE kung walang ECE and vice versa.

REE ako and I'm working in the fields of these three EE, ECE and COE.

And I guarantee mawala man ang stem ng isa man sa mga yan damay damay ang lahat. So, depende sa capability mo and interest mo kasi when you step up in real world lahat ng matutunan sa school is 15% lang maaapply mo sa trabaho or sa business man. Madami ako kilala tapos ng ECE pero work nila asa IT field like CISCO Engineer and JAVA Developer.

Kung gusto mo is may self satisfaction ika nila pipiliin mo yung may board exam, kaso sa PRC pag napasa mo yung exam nila..., yung license mo Philippine based lang when you plan working abroad you have to take another exam na naman based sa country na yun. And all the exam based sa abroad is nababase sa experience sa work hindi sa kung ano ang natutunan mo sa review center or sa school...

Okay let us say you don't have any plans working abroad, so you mind taking a course with a PRC licensure exam but along the process mahirap pala then you will think na sana yung Comp Eng na lang kinuha ko. Or Comp Eng kinuha mo then you find it disturbing kasi ang hirap na nga wala namang licensure exam (But I think in the future magkakaroon na). So at the end its still the passion mo sa field dapat ang mananaig. When you chose a course dapat sigurado ka, yung gusto mo talaga. Kasi at the end naman its still you who will learn in that field, work in that field, and earn in that field.

If you are into programming din although both degree have programming subjects mas ahead lang programming nature sa Comp Eng. And If you want working in communication system in the future then go sa ECE.

I'm working in construction along side ko is ung automotive industry din. Nagdedesign ako ng electrical distribution systems as well as FDAS and Auxiliaries kasama sa work ko is yung mag configure din ng devices and magprogram ng mga equipments para madali mamonitor. Sa automotive, I'm a fan of cars din kasi and may mga equipments na high tech na kinakabit na rin sa mga sasakyan like of course cameras, automatic door locks and automatic window wiper and thank you sa mga ece and comp eng na nagdevelop nun. So see? lahat may kanya kanyang ambag sa real world.

Hi, Electrical Engineer din aku and our field is very wide. we can do ECE task and Comp.E as well.

However, during my undergrad first course ku is ECE and it turned out na lumipat aku sa ibang University at doon walang ECE program kaya I continue my engineering career and choose the EE field. Actualy, during that time it took me a while to decide kung EE or Computer Eng'g since yung first choice ku talaga is ECE luckily EE program includes both the Comp.E and ECE basic curriculums plus EE major subjects. at least naman alam mu yung basics for the other 2 fields. hehe

Para sakin nakita kuna yung General Concept of the ECE and Comp.E career kaya which ever you choose I'm pretty sure na mag e.enjoy ka for 5 long years.

When we talk about the career path after obtaining the Degree, I think pareho lang yung job demand nang ECE and Comp.E talagang maraming Job opportunity Lalo na't nasa modern era na tayu ngayun.

Just to put an edge on one another. ECE - focused in robotics, PLC, industrial JObs, IT, Programming, electronics, hardware engineering-PCB design, Networks/communication systems etc. . .

Comp.E - Hardware programming, IT, Web based programming, Micro-processors, Network (Server, Firewall) etc. And don't worry kung wlang PRC board kasi pwedi naman mag take CCNA exam and Microsoft certified Engineer - International known certification/license. . .

I hope this helps.:):) Good Luck sa career mu. . .

I've rather suggest that you take COE or IT due to no board exam ECE is difficult after you grad from it just take cisco cert. and done have a job

take ECE, plus mag aral ka din ng programming while taking ece. you kind of get best of both worlds

note:

don't know if this is the right thread, ask ko na din. meron po bang thermal paste na nag a-act din as pandikit?

Hello, I suggest ECE. Pwede kasi sa Semicon, Telcos, Broadcasting or even IT.

I'm a Computer Engineering student pero Microelectronics track ko. Meaning nagsesemicon din po ang CpEs :D

I would suggest na mag ECE ka. Sobrang lawak ng field. Lahat ng kind of technologies pwede pasukin.
