Yun nga po sir. Dapat as draftman / CAD mai-translate ang design intent into drawings. Dapat maging malinaw sa magbabasa ng drawings kung ano ang planong gawing expansion sa existing at pano ito gagawin![]()

dapat hindi... pero kung may basic idea ka ng mga gagawin (due to experience), gawin mo na rin at ipacheck na lang sa appropriate engineer (electrical for loads, lighting and grounding layouts). just be wary of presumptive a-holes at baka sabihing: "kaya mo naman pala eh, di ikaw na rin pumirma"
most companies/firms have pre-made single-line-diagram and computation of loads para sa mga basic designs... just make sure na you are using the right one.
ang pagkakaiba usually ng draftman sa architect ay tulad ng "encoder" at "programmer"
draftsman = that means you just have to interpret and draw what they want. kaya you should know how they think and the standards that they work with.
architect/engineer = designer, they have to visualize everything and make decisions on what materials are needed and will be used, make necessary computations (though may Civil/Structural Engineer pag marami ng factors sa computation), cost analysis, and other stuff to make sure the building gets constructed the way they imagined it and the client wants it.
