so, kung galit ka man po sa mga Islamist na yan. please don't blame all muslims and just pray, that God always helps those who do good.

I'm not referring to anyone in particular. I haven't read any of your posts. I saw this thread and I thought of that article.
Anyway, my question is, paano nila ipinapakita ang respeto sa mga babae.
I have many pinoy muslim friends, and I can say that typical pinoy sila- i.e., lumaking mama's boy, at "medyo takot" sa misis. =)
Of course, there are also the "other" kind.
What I don't get is, bakit yung ibang muslim have vastly different ways of treating women.
And do Filipino muslims agree with them?
If not, pwede ba silang maglabas ng isang, say, manifesto, that those women should be accorded proper respect?

IIRC, meron dating lumabas condemning terrorism.
However, I don't think anybody in the muslim world heard them.
At least not enough to really do something substantial about it.

well, i don't know kung pano nila pinapakita ang respeto nila sa mga babae nila, for us filipino muslims, we have very much respect sa babae. at syempre may other side din na muslims na di nirerespect ang babae, so, Allah(SWT) na ang bahala sa kanila.

of course, as being filipino na marespetuhin tapos nadagdagan pa ng Islam, cyempre, we don't agree on other muslims na di nagrerespeto ng babae. si Allah(SWT) na ang bahala sa kanila. we as muslims, if we can teach them by our hands we will do, if not, we will teach them by our tongue, and if not, we will teach them by making DUA'A (Worship/Pray) for them na sana they will be rectified for what they are doing.

ISLAMIST, di ko nga alam sir kung ano pinaglalaban nila, let's say they are fighting for GOOD, then there is no reason for me para magalit.

BUT!

if they are doing bad things which is not in teachings of ISLAM, then YES!

Samantala nasa Surah sa Qur'An ang Surah An-Nisa(The Women). Mismong si ALLAH(S.W.A) ang nagpahiwatig na mahalaga ang kababaihan. Anu pala ang halaga kung makikipagdirawang ang kababaihang muslim sa Womens day? May karangalan ba akung matatanggap?
