I used to work for Dell and based from my experience, Seagate and Toshiba hardrives do not fail as much as the other brands. In fact, I am using a Seagate External HDD myself.

True. I lost my files when my Western Digital internal HDD suddenly stopped working.
It was just a back up drive so I did not expect it to fail just like that.
