if you are referring to the facebook app from blackberry. eh wala, nada, none , no way to use it for free or via wifi unless you have a BIS subscription. Ang mga app na ito eh from blackberry and they connect to the blackberry servers, w/o BIS there is no way you can connect to that. Who knows baka in the future meron na pero as of now (*at time of writing) eh wala talagang free way.

hello po...pls...HELP naman po...since ng download po ako ng FB at TWITTER sa phone ko (8520) pag my txt msg po ako at my notification sa FB...walang tone....tpoz po pg my msg ako sa inbox need ko p po iview ung folder para mkta ung msg...pa help nmn po pls....thank you po in advanz...Godbless..

Welcome bro,pang globe yang naipost ko. Pasensya na pero di ko alam ang procedure ng smart or kung meron sa talk and text. Since 2002 kasi naka globe na ko. By the way. mukang ibang thanks yung na hit mo lol

You need to activate the tones for those apps, Go to sound and Alert profiles > change sound and alerts > profile management > select the profile that you currently use > go down to other applications - Notifiers > jan mo ma eedit ang alerts ng FB and Twitter. Regarding your second question, Not sure kung na gets ko. Pero pag may nag text sakin eh need ko rin muna buksan ang TEXT messages app para mabasa ito.

SIR HELP NAMAN PO!
Suddenly my BB wont start its camera! Hindi siya nalaglag, nabasa or any. One time nagfafacebook app ako, the nagclose yung app. Tapos magpipicture ako sabi niya Close some other applications. Nag battery pull na ako, reload ng OS. But wala pa din

I suggest you have it check by a authorize tech ( given na nag batt-pull kana , wipe or to the extent na nag reload ng OS )

good am sir, meron po yung kapatid ko na bb 9300 brand new, niregister na namin sa sun prepaid for bis, ginawa na din batt pull pati host routing table, indi pa din nakakapag bis, andi mag all caps yung edge or 3g,panu po kaya mga 4 na tries na kami, P50 each, sayang load e, salamat po sa help.

Make sure naka on ang DATA SERVICES ( Check mo sa mobile network options ) then pag wala pa rin do a battery pull tapos request routing table ulit. Pag ayaw talaga, mag dispute kayo ng refund sa sun.

nakikita ko location ng friends ko. tapos above that nakalagay friends and you. wala check in button di gaya sa 8900 ko meron.

I dont know man, kasi I'm checking gsmarena.com and walang gps ang 8520, ang 8900 meron. Tho I'm also uncertain kung cellular tower locations ba ginagamit ng foursquare or gps alone or both. That could be the case, try open isa sa mga friends mo, diba lalabas dun kung san sya currently naka check in , may option dapat the check in here ( kung san naka check in ang friend mo ) kung wala talaga the GPS thing could be it. I will try to ask some of my friends na naka BB kung meron sakanila naka 8520 and using foursquare.

Update : I checked the BB site and included naman 8520 sa list ng supported devices.
Have your tried reinstalling it?

ano po kaya problem ng 8900 ko? bigla na lang nagloloko ang trackball nya wala naman ako ginawa na iba. hirap na siya i scroll.

kung may app ka na na install bago nag ka problem yan eh remove it.
Try going to safe mode and uninstall it

To turn on safe mode, complete the following steps:

1 Remove and reinsert the BlackBerry smartphone battery.
2When the red light-emitting diode (LED) light goes out, press and hold the Escape key as the BlackBerry smartphone is loading.
3 Press ok when you get to the safe mode notification box.

You can then remove 3rd party apps that may be causing the problem.

To turn off safe mode, remove and reinsert the BlackBerry smartphone battery.

If that doesnt fix it. Try to do a wipe from safemode. Pag wala parin eh reflash na yan. hope that helps.

Hi, my bb 9300 3g is currently on os 5.0.0.977. I want it to upgrade to os6. I followed the instruction posted in the web. Like, installing the blackberry desktop manager version6 and installing ng device software ver6.. Still there is no available update for my device. what concerns me is, my frend who have a bb9300 3g ver 5.0.0.846. Whenever he plug-in his device there is an available update. And another frend of mine. Who have a bb9300 3g with the same version as mine has upgraded his os to os6. Plss help.. Tnx...

^ you don't need to use the BB desktop Manager to update ^


*** ALWAYS DO A BACKUP OF YOUR IMPORTANT FILES ***

1. Download the OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
3. Plug in your BB via usb cable and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same folder as the above vendor.xml file.

Give it approx 25-40mins to update.
