So far so good, 2mos on the go... Only gripe is the batt life, all goes with most smartphones nowadays. Don't ask too much for within this price range... Contented and happy.

Hello there. New CM Apollo user here. Kakabili ko lang kanina. Heheh. So far so good naman as a normal usage of phone. But in terms of camera (image quality), average lang and when zoomed, pixelated na talaga. Kinompare ko sya sa C905 ko . I bought this phone just for normal usage such as social networking, games and better messaging than my SE C905. In other words second phone ko lang to and my primary is still SE C905 dahil nag iipon pa ako para makabili ng Xperia Z1 while waiting for a price drop as well. Well overall performance, I might say it's good. Just don't expect to much . Thanks and have a great day. Still torturing my phone until the seventh day of replacement. Haha. xD

HOW TO ROOT YOUR CHERRY MOBILE APOLLO

IMPORTANT INFO: Developer options is not visible when you go to settings... in order to activate, go to settings>about phone> PRESS ON BUILD NUMBER REPEATEDLY (a message will prompt you that the dev options will be available)




Phase 1 - Install necessary drivers
1. Download ADB Driver Installer

2. Install, once installed, this window will appear, http://adbdriver.com/images/adb-driver-installer.jpg

then connect youre phone and click install, once finished, proceed to phase 2 -

Phase 2 - ROOT

1. Download and extract

2. connect your phone in USB debugging mode (can be found in developer options

3. Open RUN.bat in the extracted files, and follow on screen instructions, once done, unplug your phone and it will reboot, then proceed to Phase 3

Sir I'm having this phone Cherry Mobile Apollo. bago pa lang cya. Ni root ko cya gamit ang procedure mo
then i found this failure. Ni-check ko root access using root checker pero di pa cya rooted.
Di po gumana sa akin sir.
at yung driver nya bat HTC yung nkalagay
ano po dapat dawin?

I'm new dito sa symbianize.. anyway, I recently got hold of CM Apollo. ang storage nya is 4gb right? pero bat 1.75 lang nung chineck ko sa system settings.. and bat andali daling malowbatt? khit nka standby lang at nka off ang data connection. mga reviews kasi sabi mtagal malowbat kaya bumili ako. wla pang one week ang apollo ko.. sensya na, di kasi ako gadget expert.. pls do take time to reply. thank you po!

Hmmm. . .Ilang hours po ang anu po ginagawa mo sa phone? Thanks. And yes mababa lang talaga ang internal ng Apollo BUT you can swap it with your micro SD card .

Eg. Phone (1.7gb) and Micro SD Card (32GB) >>>> Phone (32GB) and Micro SD Card (1.7GB)

Ibinalik ko ung CM Apollo ko kanina . . . May defect kasi sa Wifi Signal. . Mahinang makasagap. . . At ung data connection ko naman eh sobrang bagal. . . Buti na lang may last stock pa na CM Apollo available kaya napalitan agad. . Ayun, lakas ng sagap ng bagong kong CM Apollo. Bilis din ng data connection . . Kaya guys check nyo rin kung gaano kalakas sumagap ng WIFI ang phone. Defective yung WIFI chip kaya ayun . . Damay din yata ung baseband chip para sa sim. Hayzzzz. Asteeg talaga ng screen ng CM Apollo hahah.

Meron po sir. Lewa OS custom rom. Naka secret kasi ung group ng CM Apollo users sa FB eh. Ewan ko ba dun sa group na yun. Ako masaya na ako sa stock rom + nova launcher with KitKat HD themed icons. ^^. Makikita mo ung Lewa OS sa thread na to. http://www.symbianize.com/showthread.php?t=1063064 ung Lewa OS na tinry ko is from needrom.com. Kaso bumalik ako sa stock. Hindi na kasi need ng custom rom para pabilisin ang Apollo. Mabilis na eh. Heheh.

framaroot po easiest rooting ng apollo, i've tested na on 2 apollos no problems at all, just use the latest version...

at 32 gb lang po ang max micro SD ng apollo

Hindi na po mafifix ang lowlight nito sir. False advertising lang ung BSI nila. Pero alam ko na from the start na hindi totoo ang BSI ng cam. Heheh. Ang mali lang is yung algorithm na nakacode sa camera. Ok sana kaso hindi gaanong accurate ang algorithm pagdating sa lowlight.
