By default (not rooted) very restrictive kasi yung mga Android devices sa ilang functionality nung OS mismo. Very limited access lang yung user sa device pag di rooted. Yung rooting ie-enable nya nung mga access sa device na narestrict by default. "Full access" ka sa buong system kahit yung mga subsystems nito. Isipin mo na lang na may "Admin access" ka pag naroot yung Android device mo.
Pagdating naman sa risks, dalawa lang yung iko-consider mo: yung warranty nung device at kung mabi-brick yung device o hindi. Once in-attempt mong i-root yung device, automatically voided na yung warranty nun. At sa pag-root, may posibilidad na ma-brick yung device at mga expert sa Android devices lang makakapag-unbrick. .
