Working po sa akin ung e1552 openlined huawei na globe tatoo sa coby kyros mid8042-4. Smart na browser sim na green at smartbro na sim ang working, na try q ang sun,globe and tm pero hinde ma identify ng coby q ang network,o baka need pa i activate ang gprs/mms/3g capability ng sim para mag work. Malalaman mo po na na identify ng tab ang sim mo f may 3g na naka indicate sa upper portion ng clock/time na makikita sa lower right corner ng tablet. Tried surfing and downloading using the browser sim ok naman po,then tried registering to unlisurf 50 ang smartbro sim and working din po. hanap nalang ng fbt para dito. .....check nyo lang po pala sa settings if naka on ung mobile data ng tablet.

mga bro suggest ko yung bagong kyros kunin nyo sulit yung 5k for 7 inch 4.0 ice cream sandwich na...ok sa games at mas improved na battery at easy touch na sya at according sa sales rep. na try nila gumamit ng 3g broadband at isa pa meron na sya mini usb cable kaya no worries sa pagconnect nya!!!! kahit sa ibang review na ganun pa din daw na naglast lng ng 5hrs...pero for me much better ngaun mas tipid at long life sya....

na brick ko po yung mid 1042 ko im stuck in boot loop (or some says boot loop of death)hehe=P. for a month di ko pa po siya na gamit and one month ko pa lang siya na bili.=P after tweaking the the build.prop na brick ko siya. so don't mess with build.prop if you don't know what you are doing.

but here's the bright side my tablet starts working again after do the very long,long,long research how to flash my tablet back to its original firmware. of course you need the firmware and flashing tools. here's what you need:

LiveSuit Pack (i use version 1.07 and please don't ask me for the software just google it then install to your pc)

this are the possible working factory stock firmware for MID1042:
sun4i_crane_mid1042_120701(8GB)V1.img - 4shared.com (this works for me)
sun4i_crane_mid1042_120820Phip-V1.img - 4shared.com
sun4i_crane_mid1042-CrazyHamster-120808-v1.img - 4shared.com
search this firmware @ 4shared.com. i didn't own any if this firmware of course, i just found this to other forum site.

but there's some issue after installing the stock firmware.
most of theme is the touch screen issue.

Mga sir kakabili ko lang po ng coby kyros 10.1 MID1024-4G. Gusto ko sana makaDL ng NBA2K13 tapos makalaro rin ng Zynga Poker. Kaya lang FLASH not supported eh. May way po ba tong unit ko na to na makalaro ng mga ganitong games at maka DL ng NBA.

By default (not rooted) very restrictive kasi yung mga Android devices sa ilang functionality nung OS mismo. Very limited access lang yung user sa device pag di rooted. Yung rooting ie-enable nya nung mga access sa device na narestrict by default. "Full access" ka sa buong system kahit yung mga subsystems nito. Isipin mo na lang na may "Admin access" ka pag naroot yung Android device mo.

Pagdating naman sa risks, dalawa lang yung iko-consider mo: yung warranty nung device at kung mabi-brick yung device o hindi. Once in-attempt mong i-root yung device, automatically voided na yung warranty nun. At sa pag-root, may posibilidad na ma-brick yung device at mga expert sa Android devices lang makakapag-unbrick. .

Meron ba ditong owner na ng Coby Kyros MID7035? Balak ko kasi bumili anytime soon, pero kailangan ko muna ng feedback tungkol sa device. Overall, kamusta naman yung device na 'to?

ako din tol..balak ko bumili ng MID70** series..
kaya lang di ko pa alam kung pano i-root and pano magconnect
ng broadband. by default kac, hindi 3G supported.
sana may magFB na.. gusto bumili before december.

Out of stock yung MID7035 sa shop na pinagbilhan ko, kaya MID7042 yung nabili ko. Pero di ko pa sure kung paano i-root 'to.
