Looks like problem with the power button. Try to clean the gap around it with compressed air. If still hindi gumagana, have it checked by a competent tech unless you want to disassemble ur unit urself and check.

Paki elaborate kung saan sya ngffreeze. Kung boot ba or when running a certain program etc..
Basic rule is try to run Windows in Safe Mode (tap f8 while it's booting up) and see if ur still having freeze-ups.
If no problems while in safe mode then just a simple tweak can help like disabling all items in startup tab in msconfig.
If still having problems while in safe mode, most probably hardware issue. It's always recommended to have a competent tech check it.

Possible malware, try to have it scanned by an updated AV software.

tulong naman sa laptop ng gf ko mga masters . Toshiba sya windows 7 ung os at dko na alam ung ibang details . Ang ng yayari kasi nag aauto minimize pag nag gagames or nag bbrowse sbe kasi iformat na lang daw kaso baka pwedeng magawan ng solution kahit hindi na iformat ?

At kung ifoformat naman pwede pahingi ng step by steps kung pano mag format at mag install ng os using flashdrive ??

Possible virus etc., try downloading something like Malwarebytes and do a full scan. Make sure the virus database is updated.
System restore can also work.
If you want to reinstall the OS using a usb, there are a lot of guides out there, just type "install windows using usb" in Google for example.

sir anu po ang problema ng laptop kapag bigla bigla na lang xa namamatay.. unit ng lappy q..tas bglang repair and restart na lang..

Usual cause ng unexpected shutdown sa laptops ay overheating.
Make sure it's placed in an even surface (wag ilagay sa kama na malambot at may kumot pa sa gilid), it's well ventilated and no obstructions sa air vents nya.

Other cause includes defective adaptor, power button issue, mobo issue etc.

Please make sure when you post to have as much detail as possible.

ask ko lang po bkit po nung nagpakabit kmi ng internet connection sa smart. may ginamit pa silang arrester pero ndi naman gumagana ung arrester.. pinalitan na nila trice ung ethernet cable pti ung arrester pero ndi prin nagkaroon ng blink ung built in lan ko,, pero when they used the main ethernet cable (from the canopy) nagkaroon cia ng internet conection. ask ko lang po kung pnu ku mppgna ung arrester.. syang kc we.. hehehe tnx po sa mkksgot God bless us all

boss, salamat sa reply and tips. kaso nagtry ako mag safe mode. ganun parin ang nangyayari, magrerestart lang ulit sya tapos windows logo ulit tapos restart na naman. paulit ulit lang. ilang beses nadin ako magtry na mag safe mode, ganun padin boss di ako makapasok.
tapos nagtry ako mag install ng ibang OS (sp3 lite) kaso hindi magboot eh. hindi magboot yung CD, natry ko na sa cd-rom ng pc. ayaw din mag boot. nag try nadin ako sa external cd-rom, ayaw parin. wala ka po ba dyang copy ng OS na winxp sp3 din? sp3 kasi ang mas prefered ko eh.

Search ka lang sir dito at maraming installer dito na hinahanap mo at yung iba nakatweaks na...
