Most so called comic "fans" don't really know these characters very well.

Nandyan ang "well known youtube film critic at batman fan" na si chris stuckmann na nagbibitch na masyado daw dark si batman at brooding si superman. Eventhough darker sila sa comics at may reasoning naman kung bakit sila nagkaganuon. Which comes down sa inability ng mga critics na magpay attention sa details.

Now, about sa lies na kinalat nila na "zack doesn't know or understand superman or batman"

Well guess what,

Sa birthright nga lang which is one of the main source material na ginamit sa man of Steel, pinaputukan ni superman ng baril ang isang gun smuggler. Saka niya sasaluhin ang bala at the last micro second. Ginawa niya yun para ma trauma at magtanda talaga ang criminal.

Siguradong kung idinagdag nila sa man of steel tong scene na to, sasabihin ng mga "fans" na yan na "superman wasn't like that in the comics!" medyo light pa nga yan kung tutuusin. Sa earth one, talagang pinakita na sinunog ng superman duon ang isang dictator.

Kasama rin ang earth one na ginamit na reference sa man of steel.

Kay batfleck naman, nakabase siya sa earth 51 batman ng countdown to final crisis.(aside sa golden age, arkham and dark knight returns versions)

Sa movie, ang revelation ng existance ni superman na nag re awaken ng ptsd ni bruce na nakuha niya the night na napatay ang parents niya. Ang death ni jason at ang 20 years niyang battle against criminals sa gotham ang nag tulak kay bruce para maging jaded at violent na vigilante.

Nag serve din siya as a contrast ng may pagka naive philosophy ni clark.

I don't mean to be harsh but Zack Snyder is kinda holding back the DCEU. I like his serious tone but he emphasizes that too much. Like make superman a beacon of hope not a sad emo hero. I think when superman is brought back to life his perspective in life will change. Life is too short to be that emo hahah

Superman projects an optimistic, charming, caring demeanor, but he will be the first to tell you, he's only human with all the emotions that humans have. He can brood better than Batman when he wants to, has a fortress that is a monument to a dead world and he will often go there to just be alone and think about what he lost and what his role on Earth is. He has a terrible temper to the point that he can make everyone in the Justice League walk around on eggshells, he's flat out threatened his best friends (Batman and Wonder Woman) with extreme bodily harm and was prepared to hand it out. He's over-protective of what he considers to belong to him and can be very possessive of the same. He tries very hard not to be all the bad things that people can be, but he still feels them even if he doesn't display them. He's gotten angry at Lois countless times and wanted to put his foot down and order her to not do something. He's smacked Wonder Woman around because she got in his way/interfered with something he didn't want her interfering with. He beat the holy hell out of Supergirl when she was under Darkseid's influence instead of just getting help in restraining her. He's had thoughts of what he would do if something happened to those he cares the most about and it was not pretty. He projects one image because if people really knew how he felt sometimes, they would be terrified and he's actually stated this in his inner narration of the comics.

Read Superman Rebirth and tell me where the humor is. Read Superman Reborn and tell me where the humor is. Superman is not a light and funny character, that was Silver Age Superman. Bronze Age, Modern Age, New 52, and Superman Reborn are not light, funny, golly-gee, Mr. White types.

Silver Age Superman was found in Chris Reeve and Brandon Routh's version. Dean Cain and Tom Welling portrayed Modern Age/Post Crisis/Pre-Flashpoint Superman. Henry's version is a little Golden Age, because he's got an edge to him (excessive force towards bullies) and a deep down anger at not knowing where he came from beyond the space ship. Henry's version is also heavily influenced by Superman: Earth One, which is a phenomenal story that Man of Steel follows almost slavishly in some respects.

Superman isn't angry, he's shocked, confused, hurt and suffering from PTSD due to being forced to kill Zod. He's not in his right mind until the end of BvS and he takes up the spear even though he knows it could mean his death. At that moment he accepted that the world may hate him but he's okay with that because he has somebody that loves him. Throughout BvS, Clark said he wasn't bothered by what people thought, but he actually was, and then there was the respect and fear shown to the Batman whose brutal methods were not getting the condemnation that Superman felt they deserved or what he himself was facing. He could have been a bit jealous of the fact that even Perry White was giving Batman a pass.

These movies, Man of Steel, BvS and Justice League are Superman's story for how he becomes the hero that other heroes look up to. He had to start off low to climb to the highest high.

Possible yung supernova na IMP siguro dahil under lightspeed lang si clark ng pinasabog niya shadow moon na nag momove ng mach 6166. Na knock out pa nga si clark dahil sa collision. However, we all know na gawa rin sa magic ang shadow moon at mas matindi pa tinank niya dati. like ng tinank niya 50 keppler supernovas sa mukha niya sa action comics 847.

Si kal kent ang naka break ng time barrier. Totally different na version ng superman.

Mas nalalakasan ako sa normal na punch ni supes compared sa imp ni flash *ouch* sinend ni flash across the globe ang martian na tinamaan ng imp niya. Mula sun naman hanggang earth ang distansya ng pagtilapon ni wondie ng sinuntok siya ni clark.

Pero ang lamang ni wally, sa isang kisapmata, ilan libong imp naman kaya niyang pakawalan lolz.

Good to see the RT ratings are high, but it won't make me feel any better if I end up not enjoying the movie..
The last time a CBM was this hyped up it was with Deadpool and I left the movie feeling disappointed. so critics means nothing for me

Huling beses na nadala ako sa hype is admittedly, ang force awakens. Akala ko kasi may kakaunting creativity si jarjar abrams. Ni katiting, wala pala halos magmura ako sa sinehan hahahaha

Kakapanood ko lang kanina
Maganda ang movie I'll give it 8.5/10 It's really an awesome movie guys but I can't say if it's the best in DCEU. Maraming scenes na goosebumps-worthy and touching at nakakaiyak din ilang parts kalalaki kong tao hahaha. Humor is balanced just what I expected and needed it to be.
Nakakainlove si Gal Gadot isang proof na nman ng brilliance ni snyder dahil perfect ang pag cacast sa kanya. Kudos din kay Jenkins dahil binigyan niya ito ng sarili niyang touch.

Okay naman logan. Masyado nga lang malayo diperensya sa comic na nag serve nitong reference.

mas brutal ang setting ng post apocalyptic future, ang back story ni logan at ng refusal niya na gamitin ulit claws niya finally, mas satisfying parin ng pinatay na ni logan sila red skull at banner family lolz.

Hinde ako masyado nag eenjoy sa gore at violence sa comic pero mayroong kakaibang sense of satisfaction ng nakita kong nag explode na si logan after years ng pag titimpi sa abuse ng hulk family.

Malaki man ang difference sa source material, kaya pa ring mag stand ng movie on it's own. In fact, mas nagustuhan ko pa rin logan movie compared sa mga karaniwang nilalabas ng disney marvel. Solid ang performance nila hugh at patrick stewart. Heartbreaking ang nangyari sa character ng dalawa at sa naging fate nila sa film. Now that's some genuine feels na scene!

Ang sick rin ng performance ng child actress na si dafne keen!

Although I have to say na nasa ibang level pa rin ng feels at emotion man of steel and bvs imo.

Ito isa sa pinaka fave kong moment sa lahat ng cb movies!

Sa wonder woman naman paki pm kung ano kinalaman ni ares sa movie, kung may after credit scene or kung namatay si steve. Kung bakit din nag walk away from humanity si diana bossing mayo

Solid DC fan ako.

Sabi nila pangit/uninteresting daw ang movies ng DC dahil ang theme nila ay laging very serious/dark/boring etc. Pero wala akong pakialam.. para sakin ito ang pinakamaganda at astig na cinematic universe dahil dito ako lumaki (Justice League).
So... Very excited ako ngayong taon dahil ngayong 2016 ang "debut" ng karamihan sa movies nila.

Edit: BTW type ko rin nman ang marvel movies lalo na ang X-Men at Deadpool. Kaabang-abang talaga tong year na'to!
