During the Arroyo Administration, the DepEd allegedly bought PC worth P400 000 each with these specifications:

1.8Ghz Intel Pentium 4
128MB DDR
1.44 Floppy Disk Drive
52x CD-ROM Drive
56 kbps internal modem
40GB HDD
GeForce 4 w/ 128MB DDR
Windows 98 SE

Wooh! Amazing, isn't it?
Ikaw, ano mabibili ng P400 000 mo ?

Understandable yung Pentium 4 since yun na yung high-range ng panahon na yon.
Understandable din yung Windows 98SE, katumbas na rin yun ng XP sa panahon ngayon.
Yung other specs is mostly okay for day-to-day office work.

Yung problema dito is masyadong obscene na yang 400K/computer.
Estimate ko sa panahon na yon, kung isasama mo yung Windows OS license, Microsoft Office license PLUS yung equipment papalo ka sa 100K (Extreme case na yan)

By the way, sa corrupt government natin hindi na yan bago sa publiko. Pero sana lang bumili sila (mga korakot) ng medyo hindi halata na specs. Nasobrahan na kasi sila na kahit wala silang alam sa specs2x na yan kinukurakot pa rin kaya ayan medyo busted sila (mga korakot sa gobyerno including politicians if involved). Whistle blower would be whistle blower at hanggang diyan lang sila maging sa mga kurakot at hanggang walang mas magandang systema at mabuting gobyerno, mananatiling engot ang bansa natin.

Correct me if I'm wrong, pero si Butch Abad ang Sec. of Education noon di ba? Si Butch Abad ay kabilang sa "Hyatt 10," yung sampung gabinete ni Gloria na tumiwalag. Yung Hyatt 10 ngayon, mga kampon na ni PeNoy ngayon.

Si Butch Abad ngayon ay Sec. of Budget ni PeNoy.

high end pc's na mabibili q sa halagang yan..base sa build ng pc mga around 20k lng ang mgagastos jan in each pc.

Where did you get the info and then I'll buy it, Lot of people here Buying this and don't really asking why how did you find it,

kalokohan. nung panahong bago ang P4, hindi ka aabot sa 50k with those specs
