Better research first and comply with govt. implemented rules and regulations para iwas aberya

Earlier this June 2022, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reminded Filipinos that owning select e-bikes and e-scooters requires an LTO registration.

So, if you own an e-bike, it is best to have this LTO registration settled before you get any violation or bad record. Today, we’ll show you how.

Why do e-bikes need LTO registration and driver’s license?

The registration of e-bikes is in compliance with the new Republic Act 11697 or The Act Providing for the Development of the Electric Vehicle Industry.

LTO e-bike classification

First thing’s first, you should know the classification your e-bike belongs in, so you know the type of vehicle you need to register, the process, and the fees.

E-bike LTO registration in the Philippines

Step 4: Take the breakdown of fees to the cashier and settle the payment.

Step 5: After the payment is done, wait for the releasing officer to release your official receipt (OR) and certificate of registration (CR).

These are the step-by-step guide to check if you need to register your e-bike and the full process of having it listed on the Land Transportation Office.

No registration at no driver's license needed na sana. Kala ko kc ganun eh.

Eto nalang eh, pag nasagi ka ng mga kasabay mong 4-wheel or 2-wheel motor cycles how can you defend your self sa police report kung wala kang registration and driver's license

consider nadin naten safety natin sa law of PH, iba ang feeling pag andun ka na as incident anyway it's your choice haha as a 4-wheel driver perspective yan :)

Have a safe ride po

Raze Voltaire & Nami Burn) hehehe nakakatamad at pagod kapag bumyahe like jeep tapos sobrang traffic pa.
