baka newer batch yung N73 nyo po.

I dont think that changing the product code will automatically void your warranty. besides, wala naman risk kung sakaling mag-write ka ng product code sa N73 mo. mas risky pa nga yung NSU should you have unstable dsl connection or due to power interruption.

ah ok po..wala nmn pong disadvantage yung pagpapalit ng product code? Kung skali wat mgandang ipalit na product code? thanx po =)

wala naman pong disadvantage at all.

I always go for the EMEA or Euro firmware because of the option to choose French as the phone's language. However, since the upgrade is not available in EMEA, no choice but to write an APAC product code on to my phone.

you must have the following product codes in order to upgrade your firmware to the latest one:

N73 RM-133 APAC Music Edition

0539343 -> APAC 1 -> Chinese, English
0539346 -> Philippines -> English, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philipino
0539349 -> Australia/New Zealand -> English, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philipino
0539352 -> Indonesia -> English, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philipino
0539354 -> India/Vietnam -> English, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philipino
0539351 -> Thailand -> English, Thai

-ano ba ung APAC? @shr00ms pano ka po nkapag update? yung dati pa rin na firmware kc yung lumalabas sa NSU ko eh..

dudes and dudettes..grabe ba talaga yung improvement sa cam? how about yung speed? medio bumilis na ba ng konte? remember yung main rob natin sa N73..mabagal..waaaah...thanks to updates bros and sis

d nmn po eh madilim pa din skin pag sa video..kinumpara ko sa n70me madilim p din eh.. don sa mga nakaupdate baka pede nmn kau makapag upload dito ng sample vid ng n73 ung sa mejo madilim n place want ko lang mlman if same lng nung skin..ung sa video nyo parang me ulan ulan s scrin na mejo madilim?

i compared the videos from the n70 of my bro and to my n73..mas brighter pa rin yung kuha ng n70..and isa pa po nangyari lang un after i updated my firmware from v3 to v4..

same here. there's too much noise when it's too dark. however, I dont mind the noise at all -- I dont use the video capability at all kasi.

what's noticeable about the current firmware is the speed/responsiveness of the phone after the upgrade.

wahhh mas lalo pumangit N73ko nang naiupdate ko at yung ibang apps na di na nagwowork...lumabo din ung cam ko parang mas dumilim kaysa sa ate ko eh pareho lang naman kasi kami nang phone hindi lang naupdate yung sakanya...

bro its normal naman na hindi gumana yung dating apps na nakainstall sa phone mo.... kasi parang renireformat yung phone mo pagnaguupdate ka so yung mga files na nakainstall sa drive C mo mlaki chans na di na tlaga magwork kaya delete mo nalang lahat ng files mo na nasa drive E \private\.. tapos reinstall all.. palagay ko about sa cam is hindi siya malabo ok lang yan kasi pagkaprint niyan for photo pareho lang ang resulta

Sinend ko po ito sa Nokia website. Kasi naiinis talaga ako bakit parang mas ok pa ata yung quality ng video sa N70 kesa sa N73 ko.

I recently updated my Nokia N73 Music Edition's firmware to the latest

I updated it using my own PC and internet connection at home.

I noticed that the video recording quality of my phone is inferior to that of a Nokia N70 (I also have a Nokia N70). Shouldn't the N73 have a better resolution since it uses the Carl Zseiss Optics at 3.2MP compared to a regular 2MP lens used by Nokia N70?

Prior to video shooting, I used the optimum settings. I am very well-versed with Nokia phones, but I think this is a firmware/hardware matter.

I have done the liberty of uploading samples of the video. These are not edited, it's raw - straight from the 2 phones.
